The latest Pokémon game is mere weeks away, yet more information is still on its way before the title’s release. Nintendo’s Pokémon Company teased earlier today that a major announcement is on its way for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon next week.
According to the official Japanese Pokémon Company Twitter account, the news announcement will come out on Nov. 2 at 9am ET. It’s unclear what the company will reveal, albeit no Nintendo Direct has been announced for that day. But this certainly looks to be an important teaser. Comicbook.com reports that Game Freak director Shigeru Ohmori called the news something players “can’t miss.”
Whether it’s new information on the game’s online features or a new Pokémon reveal, no one knows for sure. In the meantime, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon lands for the Nintendo 3DS family worldwide on Nov. 17. It’s also the last Pokémon game for the Nintendo 3DS, after which fans speculate Game Freak will move on to developing the upcoming Nintendo Switch title Pokémon Stars.
