Recently, Slightly Mad Studios revealed the first look of Project Cars on Playstation 4, it looked pretty stunning almost identical to PC port.
The game runs on Slightly Mad Studios’ proprietary MADNESS game engine that was built specifically for next-generation platforms and is scalable to a wide variety of modern PC specifications.
Today, Ian Bell, Head of Studio has shared some details regarding resolution and FPS figure of Project Cars on Xbox One and Playstation 4. Ian Bell stated that development team targets is 1080p/60 FPS on both PS4 and Xbox One and later added that they are already there on PS4 i.e the game is already pretty close to running at 60 FPS on PS4.
“We’re already there on PS4, so high :)” Bell commented on one of the EuroGamer’s article about Project Cars.
Project Cars is scheduled to launch in November 2014, so there’s still 6 months development time period left so expect to see much more improvement, hopefull 60 FPS, 1080p on Xbox One as well.
