PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4 exclusive The Last of Us was termed as “Once In A LifeTime Experience”. The game was very well received by critics and fans, and it went on to receive over 200 Game of the Year Awards. So, how will you react if i say, The Last of Us still has “FLAWS”, these are the exact words of Naughty Dog Co-Director Bruce Straley.
Speaking to our friend at GameInformer (via Video Interview) Bruce Straley stated that although, he is “Super Happy” with the reception The Last of Us and The Last of Us: Remastered, there were still many things the development team could have done better.
“You still see the flaws, you still see the things that you wish you had more time to improve on, and you still wish you could have done something a little differently.”
He further added:
“I’m super proud of what we’ve done here in the team and everything that we’ve accomplished… but at the same time, there’s another aspect, which is like, it’s not done, or something.”
These comments from Bruce came when he was discussing the process of improving game development, and how Naughty Dog will use the development lessons learnt during The Last of Us’ development in their upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive title, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
