Sony has just announced that the launch of their upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive title from From Software, Bloodborne which was initially scheduled to launch in February 2015 will now arrive on March 25, 2015.. The reason that was provided for the delay, “development team needed more time deliver best possible final experience”, obviously a long OLD reason that every developer/publisher use when announcing a delay for their game.
“As many of you know, earlier this year we announced that our forthcoming PS4 game, Bloodborne, would launch in February 2015. Unfortunately, I’m here today to announce a short delay to the release date, as we need a few more weeks to deliver you the best possible final experience.
We were really grateful for all the player data and feedback we received from those who took part in our recent limited alpha test, and this extra development time will allow us to better integrate these learnings into the game.”
According to us the actual reason expected is Sony wanted to avoid direct competition between TWO AAA big budget PlayStation 4 exclusive: “The Order: 1886 and Bloodborne”, both were initially scheduled to launch in February 2015, so delaying one of them for few weeks is a win win situation for all parties.
