Sony at E3 2014 announced “Bloodborne”, a Playstation 4 exclusive title earlier titled as “Project Beast” from From Software. We have just received some gorgeous looking 1080p in-game screenshots of Bloodborne. The hype surrounding the game before its official reveal were real, Bloodborne will feature more combat variety, crazy enemy design.
Face your fears as you search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire. Danger, death and madness lurk around every corner of this dark and horrific world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive.
Some fresh details from Marty Hess, a journalist who saw live gameplay demo of Bloodborne: “Just saw Bloodborne gameplay. Believe that hype — more combat variety, crazy enemy design, and looks INCREDIBLE.” he tweeted.
There’s also some information about Bloodborne in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine: “From what people who read the leaked Famitsu have said it’s going to be kind of a side game to the Souls series and more low fantasy compared to high fantasy.”
“They are replacing magic with gadgets, guns and such. Main mechanic seems to be related to blood and blood is also used to regain your HP and gain various other benefits.”
“You get blood sucking it from corpses or items. Sucking too much blood will turn you into a beast which I suppose is this game’s Soul/Hollow form. The game will apparently become a lot harder to play/control when in beast mode. To become a human again you need human blood and is where the online component comes into play,” reads the details from Famitsu as translated by NeoGaf user.
