PS4 Pro Launch Lineup Has 39 Games, 45 More Games To Be Optimised By End Of 2016

Sony has just revealed the full PS4 Pro launch lineup, featuring all the games that will be supporting the new hardware when it’s available on November 10. Of course, you can’t see any new titles right there – it’s all about the already existing games that will be receiving an update upon day one to fully deploy this console’s new technical features.

It’s nice to see a few virtual reality titles are also in the list, meaning that PlayStation VR games can actually get a little better in comparison with the way they look as of now – not that great, considering their lower res.

Some of the games right there have already been updated in order to take full advantage of PS4 Pro’s specs, like inFamous: Second Son and The Last of Us Remastered; in other few cases, like Titanfall 2, PS4 Pro support is already on disc and you won’t be required any additional download.

Sony also mentioned that apart from the games listed above, over 45 more games will be optimised for PlayStation 4 Pro by the end of 2016, and that list includes Watch Dogs 2, Killing Floor 2, FFXV, The Last Guardian and others. Furthermore, all first party software launched in 2017 and beyond, including Gravity Rush 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone and Gran Turismo Sport, will enjoy the benefits of the world’s most powerful console.
