Following all those #PS4NoParity controversy, Bioware has announced the resolution and FPS figure at which the next installment in Dragon Age franchise will run on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Dragon Age: Inquisition will run at 1080p on PlayStation 4 and at 900p on Xbox One.
When asked to specify the reason behind the difference in resolution between the two versions, Bioware clarified that development wanted to use the current potential of each platform. This means all those silly “Parity, Avoid Debates” excuses are void here, thumbs up to Bioware.
Confirmed: #DAI resolution is 1080p on PS4, and 900p on Xbox One. We maximized the current potential of each platform.
