Sid Meier’s Civilization 3 Complete is free on Humble for the next 48 hours. Originally released in 2001, the Complete edition includes both the Play The World and Conquests expansions. For younger readers, expansions are things that existed before DLC became an industry standard. You normally had to walk into a shop to buy them and they came in a box and everything.
To get the game, just follow the link and click add to cart. The game comes in the form of a Steam key. This is worth noting as multiplayer for the title is no longer supported on Steam. It is a 16 year old title, so that is somewhat understandable, I think.
Whilst Sid Meier acted as director for the game, it was actually designed by Jeff Briggs and Soren Johnson. Jan let slip in that this is his favorite Civilization title, which is obviously insane in a world where Civilization IV exists. Below you can read the Steam blurb on the game should you wish to know what you are geting for your lack of money.

In other Humble related news, they were recently purchased by IGN. Both companies have said that things will remain as they are with both entities. Part of the Humble charm is that they occasionally give away free titles and we hope that will continue.
