Star Wars Battlefront 2 Gets Trial Offer For Origin and EA Access Subscribers

Good news for Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans eager to hop back into the game after its open beta. Origin and EA Access subscribers on PC and Xbox One can now play Battlefront 2 for 10 in-game hours thanks to EA’s game trials service.

Here’s how it works. Multiplayer is entirely accessible to anyone who picks up the trial, with in-game progress saved for the full game’s release. That means multiplayer experience will carry over from the trial to the game’s full version.

Only a couple single-player missions are available to try during the 10 hour trial, however, so don’t expect to breeze through the whole game’s campaign before launch. And while Battlefront 2’s trial version already supports Xbox One X’s graphical enhancements through its advanced hardware, the trial offer isn’t available to PlayStation 4 users, since Sony currently doesn’t support EA Access.

Origin and EA Access also give players a 10 percent off discount for when the full game releases, and anyone who buys Battlefront 2’s Deluxe Edition gets a headstart on the full version by Nov. 14. Otherwise, Star Wars Battlefront 2 launches on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Nov. 17 worldwide.
