Last week EA and DICE launched Star Wars: Battlefront on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One amid much fanfare worldwide. However, the game received a mixed response from critics and fans, many of them went on to accused the publisher of ruining the Star Wars video game franchise. To cut short this hatred towards Star Wars: Battlefront, it seems like Electronic Arts is misusing its power and money. EA is trying to bribe famous people to say that they like Star Wars: Battlefront.
Benjamin Burnley, of Breaking Benjamin, recently posted an image of Star Wars: Battlefront Xbox One disc with a message that Electronic Arts tried to pay him a handsome money just to say that he liked the game. Here is what the full message of Benjamin Burnley reads on Instagram:
“They wanted to pay me to post that I like this piece of shit game . They can shove it up their ass this game sucks I’d rather watch the god awful prequels then play this piece of shit one more second that’s for ruining Star Wars EA”
The hype and expectations from Star Wars: Battlefront was massive, but it seems like the game disappointed fans on all parameters. The game has been receiving low reviews around the web (an average review score of 5 out of 10). Do you think what Electronic Arts did here is surprising? considering the fact that they did this same thing with Reddit moderators. Share your opinion with us in the comment section below.
