Chucklefish’s Stardew Valley is officially on its way to Nintendo Switch, and it’s coming this week. Developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone announced in an official blog post that the game’s Switch version launches Oct. 5.
The Nintendo Switch version will be available on Thursday for $14.99, according to the post. A tweet from Barone reveals that no physical release is coming this week, but rather, the game will be “eShop only for now.” The Switch version will also be the first to receive Stardew Valley’s upcoming multiplayer mode, which comes out later next year.
Ported thanks in part to Sickhead Games, Barone and Chucklefish’s Stardew Valley was originally announced for Nintendo Switch back in early 2017. Stardew Valley first launched on PC in February 2016, before reaching PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last December.
