    2011 has been a successful year for video game industry. This year we saw lots of blockbuster games, and its really very hard to pick the BEST.

  • VGAs 2011: List of Nominess revelaed

    Spike TV has revealed the complete list of nominees for 2011 Video Game Awards (VGAs). This time categories inclded are, "Studio of the Year, Best Original Game, and Best Graphics".

    Spike TV has also confirmed that Zelda franchise will be the first series to be inducted into Video Game Hall of Fame. Gamers can also expect to see brand new gameplay footage of Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Patriots, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and BioShock Infinite.

  • Namco Bandai Eurogamer Expo 2011 line-up revealed

    Namco Bandai has just revealed its line up for Eurogamer Expo 2011. This year's event is schedule to takes place at London’s Earls Court between the 22nd and 25th September.

    Lee Kirton, Marketing Director of Namco Bandai Games (UK) said, “We are very excited about this year’s Eurogamer expo. We have some incredible titles to show off this year and it’s an exciting year for Namco Bandai to do this.”

    Rupert Loman, Managing Director of Eurogamer added, “This is an exceptionally strong offering from Namco Bandai and we’re delighted that they’ve chosen the Eurogamer Expo to showcase their biggest games.   • The year 2011 will be the year of Kinect: Stephen McGill

    Nintendo was the first one to bring the motion controlled technology to gaming industry and at that time it was selling like a hot cakes, and today Sony and Microsoft has gone a step ahead with Playstation Move and Xbox 360 Kinect.

    But the question on everyone's mind is that which one will be better among these two and who will be ruling the market in 2011?. Look like Stephen McGill of Microsoft has answer to this question.

    According to Stephen McGill, Kinect is going out to be queen of 2011 as they have a very strong 2011 kinect line up. Here is what he said in regards to the performace of Kinect in 2011:

     “As for the future, we’ve got a brilliant line-up for 2011 but it’s ultimately all about Kinect. Kinect is going to blow people’s minds. They’re [already] buying it, but we’ve got a line-up of Kinect games that will blow people away.”

  • Tecmo Koei Announced their Q1 2011 Line Up

    Tecmo Koei has given out the details about the list of game title that they are planing to released in the Q1 of 2011.

    Here is the details list along with the game release date and platforms

    • Trinity: Souls of Zill ‘Oll: February 8 (Playstation 3)
    • Warriors: Legends of Troy: March 8 (Xbox 360 and Playstation 3)
    • Dynasty Warriors 7: March 22 (Playstation 3 and Xbox 360)

    Dead Or Alive Dimensions and Samurai Warriors Chronicles is also slated to come out in March for Nintendo 3DS.

  • ShopTo.Net: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will be best selling game title of 2011

    According to well known online retailer ShopTo.Net Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception will be 2011 big and best selling game title.

    ShopTo.Net is claiming this as they have seen a rapid increase in the pre-orders for this new installment in the Uncharted series.

    Here is what Philip Driver, Marketing Manager, ShopTo.Net said:

    "The interest in Uncharted 3 is awe-inspiring,"

    "We made the game available to pre-order on the site as soon as the release date came through and literally with twenty-four hours it was already in the top ten pre-orders."

    "Pre-Orders for Uncharted 3 are still coming in every day, despite it being nearly a year away. As it stands at the moment Drakes Deception has already outsold what is likely to be our other big title of 2011, Gears of War 3."

    Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception which was revealed just a couple of weeks ago is slated to come out in United kingdom on November 4, 2011.

  • Metal Gear Solid: Rising Delayed Again?

    According to the report going around it look like that Metal Gear Solid: Rising will going to miss out its  release window 2011.

    A source close to Kotaku has revealed that Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be missing its initial deadline and will now making its way out only in 2012.

    Metal Gear Solid: Gearing was first announced at E3 2009 for Xbox 360 and PS3 and its gameplay story is based in between the event of  Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

  • EA Announced Battlefield Play4Free

    As promised earlier by EA that they will be announcing the new Battlefield game title today. Here it is.

    EA revealed Battlefield Play4Free a shooting game title which will be coming out on PC in Spring 2011.

    Battlefield Play4Free will be a deep PC shooter featuring signature Battlefield vehicular warfare, sandbox gameplay and intense 32-player online battles.

    Giving out the details about the Battlefield Play4Free James Salt Senior Producer said

    “We broke new ground in 2009 with the launch of Battlefield Heroes; a game that has 6M registered players worldwide. Now we are complementing that arcade shooter with a core, realistic Battlefield shooter experience that fans have been clamouring for,”
     
    “Battlefield Play4Free is for serious shooter fans who are looking for a premium — but free — experience that rivals top console titles.”

  • 3DS pushed into 2011 by supply issues: Satoru Iwata

    Satoru Iwata today said that the reason they will not be releasing 3DS this year in west because it would not supply enough units.

    Speaking in an analysts conference Nintendo boss said:

    At first we thought it would be desirable to launch the 3DS within the year, so we made our forecasts on that basis, At this point it is clear that if we launch within the year, we will not be able to supply enough units.
