  • Remedy Really Wants To Do Alan Wake 2, And Will Do It Sooner Or Later

    Remedy is working on Control, its next IP, but has still a place in its heart for Alan Wake. In a recent interview, Mikael Kasurinen from the developer talked about the chance that we could see a new game (Alan Wake 2) in the franchise sooner or later, and he said that all the team at Remedy is willing to do something in that universe.

    Remedy has announced that they are currently working on two new unannounced projects and none of these two projects are related to Alan Wake series. This means fans of the franchise will have to wait a bit more for Alan Wake 2.

    Remedy Entertainment's Sam Lake recently provided an update on the next installment in Alan Wake series, Alan Wake 2, and its not a good news because it seems like there isn't any progress on the series to announce yet.

    "We are constantly looking for opportunities and talking about possibilities to see what we can do with Wake. I would definitely love to do more Wake, but it needs to be something we absolutely feel is right for Wake, and that the bar is high enough that it will be cool."

    "Not just doing at the cost of doing something which isn't as cool as it should be. So... time will tell."

    Alan Wake 2 for Xbox One launch title would have been a cool idea but development team at Remedy Entertainment started working on Quantum Dream, a brand new IP based on a TV series of the same name.

  • New Job Listing hints Alan Wake 2 in Development at Remedy Entertainment

    Remedy Entertainment (creator behind Max Payne and Alan Wake) has just updated their Jobs Page on their official website, and as per the details in it, the studio is hiring for unannounced AAA project for future generation consoles.

    Alan Wake franchise developer Remedy has registered a new domain called as "AlanWake2.com". The whois looup confirms, Remedy Entertainment as the owner of the domain.

  • Remedy: Alan Wake Games will never come to PS3

    If you are a Playstation 3 gamers and are hoping that some day Alan Wake games will launch on your beloved console than prepare to get disappointed. Remedy has firmly announced that Alan Wake franchise will never come to PS3.

    Alan Wake PS3In a recent interview to "Electronic Theatre", Remedy's Oskari Häkkinen said, "Alan Wake as a franchise will never come to PS3. Hopefully that’s not your headline but for everyone that’s pretty obvious. It’s something we would never consider for the Alan Wake franchise."

    Oskari Häkkinen further added that bringing Alan Wake franchise to other platforms would be like Uncharted franchise ending up on another platform.
