  • Microsoft Announces Summer of Arcade this year

    Microsoft has revealed it will launch five titles as part of their promotion for this summer on Xbox Live Arcade, including highly anticipated titles.

    The five games announced:

    • Lara Croft and the Keeper of the Light
    • HydroThunder Hurricane
    • Monday Night Combat
    • Castlevania: Harmony of Despair Which seems geared to multiplayer
    • The curious black and white game Limbo.

    Over the past three summers, Microsoft has released arcade titles selected for five consecutive weeks. All titles will be available starting this July.

  • AQUA – Naval Warfare Available for Xbox 360

    Today, the Slovak development studio Games Distillery announces the availability of AQUA – Naval Warfare for Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360. The game is released by Microsoft Game Studios and available for 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

    AQUA – Naval Warfare is a stylish arcade-action shooter with numerous tactical elements. In “AQUA” the player will take control of an elite cruiser and steer into the middle of a raging naval war where masses of enemies and allies engage in real-time operations. Being attacked from above and below the water surface the player has to destroy masses of enemies’ troops to be victorious.

    By unlocking new ship-types, weapons and upgrades, the player will have the opportunity to enhance his ship and gear up for the next fight. Choosing from various tactics and forming special supporting squadrons, the player will also have the option to command offensive and defensive troops in order to overcome large enemy formations and defensive installations.
