    Little Big Planet

Let’s face it. This is just a great game. Sure they’re cute little sock men. And yes, we have seen our fare share of side scrollers before. But Little Big Planet it just made for playing on the PS VITA. The side scrolling format is a huge plus and, as long as you’ve played pretty much any other handheld gaming device before, won’t take any time to get used to when flipping between play on PS3 and VITA. Being able to go head to head with other players using both the PS3 and VITA is also a huge plus. Multiplayer will be just as much fun on the go as it is in the living room.

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

As one of the top games of the year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is definitely on the list. This is an overall fantastic game that should be played wherever and whenever possible. With scores of side quests to complete, dungeons to clear and vast open landscape to explore, you will definitely be playing for some time before coming close to 100 percenting this game. But this is the beauty of the PS VITA. Where our busy lives would normally get in the way of our 100 percentage goal we now have the PS VITA to help us along on our way to being the hero of Skyrim.

    Assassins Creed 2

While not the latest released game of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed 2 was undoubtedly the most refined out of all the games released to date. With its great storyline and historical setting, Assassin’s Creed 2 is a masterful RPG. Add on the parkour style running, jumping, dodging, stealing, and assassinating, and you have a game that can entertain for hours and hours.

    LIMBO

This indie platformer is as fun as it is artsy. LIMBO is a sidescrolling wonder. Set in a dark world you must survive, you are faced with puzzles and other challenges as you make your way through gruesome swamps, dark forests and all manner of mysterious, dark, yet beautiful landscape. Once again the nature of the side scroller and the highly addictive nature of the game lend themselves beautifully for play on the PS VITA.

    Here is what Pontbraind said:

when creating Rome, the development team tried to be as historically accurate as possible, while still making it a “unique and entertaining” experience.

“For the locations, we’ve decided to make the biggest city ever created in any Assassin’s Creed game so a lot of the action takes place directly in Rome (less loading required this time since Rome is one huge map)”,.

“Again, Rome is a huge playground and with the Rome Upgrade system, the secret locations, the side missions, brotherhood recruitment and management, collectibles, factions upgrades and so on, there is constantly a lot to do.

“Also, there are unique missions, which require Ezio to travel to other locations in Italy (Naples, Monte Circeo, etc.)! You’ll get to visit the interior of various landmarks or get to travel to a small countryside city to destroy a unique war machine designed by your friend Leonardo.

“Finally, Rome is also the most varied city we’ve created, in terms of architecture and number of landmarks. There are many different districts in the city, from Antique to Medieval and to the Renaissance district.

“With Assassins’s Creed, we always strive to be the historically accurate in the representation of the cities and the events that are in the game. Research is the foundation on which our work is based on, so long as it provides players a unique and entertaining experience”.
