Rocksteady begins to provide details of Batman: Arkham City, The sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum which will arrive in October 2011.
Sefton Hill, Rocksteady project manager, said that Arkham City is "four or five times" bigger than Arkham Asylum in interview with Official PlayStation Magazine.
In his words: "Our objective in this game is not to make the biggest game we can, but to make the best game possible. Gamers who played Batman: Arkham Asylum will know how dedicated we are as a studio to injecting an incredible amount of detail into every environment we build".
"It is this attention to detail that gives our games the deep and intense atmosphere that so many players have found so compelling, and so we have had to seriously scale up our art team in order to bring the same level of detail to Arkham City, which is about 4-5 times bigger than Arkham Asylum" Sefton Hill concluded.
Square Enix has just had a blast this year as some on its tiles perform better in the market in terms of number of unit sold, the title which cross the million mark in terms of number of unit sold are Final Fantasy XIII, Dragon Quest IX and Batman: Arkham Asylum.
Among these three titles Final Fantasy XIII topped with a total of 5.5 million unit sold all around world, not far behind him was Dragon Quest IX which sold a total of 4.2 million mark. The surprise entry was the Batman: Arkham Asylum which cross 3.4 million mark which is much much better performance than expected this unit were mostly send in US and Europe.
