  • New Black Ops 2 Patch Live Now for PS3 and Xbox 360, Full Changelog Revealed

    Treyarch has just released brand new patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The update is available for download on PS3 as well as Xbox 360, it carries fix for numerous known issues and also add few new things.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops 2Full patch note is listed below, Please Note: first two items in the ‘General’ category apply to PS3 and Xbox 360, as the rest of the items are related to Apocalypse DLC.

    General

    • Fixed an issue with users equipping Scorestreaks in unintended circumstances.
    • Ladders now appear correctly when viewing them from your Profile while in the League menu.

    Dig

    • RC-XD now properly travels over various brick piles.
    • Patched-up ground underneath one of the metal plates.

    Frost

    • Bots now behave correctly when capturing flags in Domination.
    • Players can no longer leave the playable area by jumping on unintended collision in the water.
    • Added Player collision to two bicycles next to one of the buildings.
    • Frozen ice in the Northeast section now has proper Player collision.
    • Addressed extended collision on a wall next to the Bridge, which was being used as an exploit.
    • Fixed an issue where weapons could go through the Bank doors, giving Players unintended views of the map.
    • Players can no longer exit the map via the frozen river.
    • Lower drawer in the kitchen of one of the houses now has proper collision.
    • Players can no longer see into one of the Southwestern buildings along the top of a doorway.
    • Addressed Players being able to see outside the map in the Northwest section.
    • Addressed invisible Player collision on a panel of one of the Northwestern buildings.
    • Patched-up ledges on one of the buildings in the Northwest corner.
    • Added proper collision under multiple windows of one of the buildings.
    • Appropriate collision has been added to one of the snow mounds on top of a boat.

    Pod

    • Defined collision on a section of rocks in the Northeast section.
    • Fixed an issue where a small section of brick wall would appear transparent in one of the Pods.
    • Scaffolding on the East Pod tower now has proper collision.
    • Ceiling in the Northeastern tower now appears correctly when viewed.
    • Construction barriers now have proper collision throughout the map.
    • Fixed unintended collision on a section of fence, which was being used to exploit.

    Takeoff

    • Fixed a rare issue which was causing the Player’s arms to be invisible during the countdown timer.
    • Players are no longer able to stand on an exterior ledge alongside the Launch Center building.
    • Sentry Gun no longer targets enemies through Lift 4C’s doors.
    • Added collision to the boxes near the Control Room and the Visitor Center.
    • Zombies Issues Addressed

    General

    • Improved stability during Local play when attempting to sign-in using a Guest profile.
    • Addressed an issue which caused the background music to stop while in the menus.
    • Map icon for Die Rise no longer moves around the globe rapidly when Origins is selected.

    Origins

    • Fixed multiple issues where the Player could see outside the map using Free Cam mode in Theater.
    • Players who join a session already in progress after Round 1 are no longer able to ride on the Tank without its cooldown.
    • Fixed an issue where Zombies couldn’t get to the Player if they were hanging off an edge near the Ruins.
    • Addressed the issue with unlimited ammo when swapping out the Staff in the Elemental Charging Chamber.
    • Players can no longer obtain the “Master Wizard” achievement through spectating.
    • Fixed multiple issues where the Tank was unintentionally pushing the Player through the map.
    • Lobby Preview Icon now appears correctly under the Stat Summary screen.
    • Players can no longer get to unintended areas of the map using Panzer Soldat’s claw attack.
    • Semtex grenades can now be properly acquired in the Church.
    • Panzer Soldat no longer gets stuck in front of the Tank if Players are standing on top of it.
    • Upgraded Staves can no longer be duplicated in the Ruins.
    • Addressed an issue where PHD Flopper was doing unintended amounts of damage if the Player was holding an upgraded Staff.
    • Panzer Soldat no longer becomes stuck in the air when spawning in front of a robot.
    • Players are no longer free from zombie attack when standing on the Tank’s control panel.
    • Fixed an issue where the Player could get pushed into an unintended area by the Robot’s foot and be free from zombie attack.
    • Players are no longer able to exploit by focus firing at a spawn point at the bottom of the Fire Tunnel.
    • Fixed an issue where Panzer Soldat and zombies were moving in slow motion after spawning in.
    • Players are no longer able to see the collected Staff pieces on the HUD after upgrading the Ice Staff.
    • Panzer Soldat now behaves correctly when it’s kited into a group of zombies.
    • Staff parts now update properly on the Scoreboard during a 4-Player Local Splitscreen game.
    • Players can properly use the Upgraded Staff melee after obtaining and losing the One Inch Punch Perk.
    • Addressed an issue with zombies walking into sandbags, ignoring nearby Players.
    • Panzer Soldat now functions properly when grabbing a zombie twice in a row with its claw attack.
    • Fixed an issue where Players could get out of the playable area in a Co-op game using the Robot’s foot.
    • Maxis Drone should now find its way to the Player correctly in the Workshop Bunker.
    • FX for upgrading a Staff are now oriented correctly.
    • Panzer Soldat no longer gets stuck behind the Jugger-Nog Perk, when entering the Robot footprint.
    • Players no longer get downed by the Robot’s foot when standing on the scaffolding next to the Pack-A-Punch machine.
    • Maxis Drone no longer gets stuck near the Church Tank exit.
    • Panzer Soldat no longer gets stuck on a Player’s head in the Church, during a Co-op game.
    • Players can no longer Dive-to-Prone out of the playable area in the Church.
    • Zombies now properly get to Players if they are crouched on a parked Tank.
    • Improved stability in a Local 4-Player game when a Player pauses the game and then presses the Back button.
    • Players now properly spawn in around Pump Station 4.
    • Panzer Soldat no longer gets stuck inside the trench in-between the Starting Area and Generator 3.
    • Players who go prone on the back edge of the Tank are no longer free from zombie attack.
    • Improved stability in a 4-Player Local game when upgrading Staves during Rounds 11 – 13.
    • Players no longer fall out of the map when Panzer Soldat does his claw attack.
    • Zombies now properly get to Players at the bottom of the Church when the Tank is parked.
    • Fixed an issue where Panzer Soldat was getting stuck if the Player jumped on and off the Tank repeatedly.
    • Players are no longer free from zombie attack when crouching on top of certain Trench walls.
    • Zombies now properly get to Players in the Robot footprint on top of the Tank Station.
  • New Black Ops 2 Patch Live Now, Official Changelog: Nerfs AN94, DSR 50 and Ballista

    Treyarch has just released a new patch for Call of Duty: Black OPs II. As per the details revealed by Treyarch on official Call of Duty Community, this latest Black Ops 2 patch fixes a ton of issues in Zombies and standard multiplayer but the most important change was the nerfs to the AN94 Assault Rifle, DSR 50 and Ballista sniper rifles.

    Game Update Notes: Jul. 23, 2013

    New Features

    • 6 new Personalization Packs are now available as downloadable content.  Each pack comes loaded with 1 camo, 1 themed calling card and 3 unique reticles.
    • Season Pass holders will now be reminded to download Season Pass content which they haven’t previously downloaded.

    Multiplayer Issues Addressed

    • Improved stability when pressing buttons during a Theater mode screenshot.
    • Screenshots taken during Theater mode from a match on Uplink will no longer become corrupt.

    Multiplayer Game Balancing

    • AN-94:  Damage slightly reduced.

    Die Rise

    • Players are no longer able to access unintended areas using the Trample Steam and the Elevator.

    Buried

    • Players are no longer able to pass over the Mansion fence using invisible collision.
    • Fixed an issue where Players were able to duplicate candy and booze when in dying in a specific staircase.
    • Players are no longer able to stand on invisible collision near the Stables and be free from zombie attack.
    • Fixed an issue where Players were able to hold the top of the Bank for an extended period of time using the Paralyzer and the Vulture-Aid perk.
    • Players are no longer able to position buildables in the General Store and become free from zombie attack.
    • Players no longer get stuck at the bottom of the slide when using Dive-To-Prone.
    • Addressed multiple issues where Players were able to throw themselves into walls using the Trample Steam and become free from zombie attack.
    • Players are no longer able to reach unintended collision on the 2nd Floor balcony of the Saloon.
    • Addressed an issue where Players could be free from zombie attack when holding a claymore and looking downward, when standing next to a Mystery Box.
    • Players are no longer able to launch themselves out of the level near the Saloon using the Paralyzer.
    • Fixed multiple issues where the Friendly AI would get stuck while holding a crawler zombie when above the General Store, in the Bank, in the Courthouse, in the Mansion, or the 2nd Floor of the Barn.
    • The Friendly AI no longer gets stuck when bringing the Mystery Box from the Hedge Maze to the Town, and vice versa.
    • The Friendly AI no longer becomes stuck if a Player gives him Candy and then enters the Fountain.
    • Fixed an issue where the Friendly AI and zombies were going through a door in the Hedge Maze and getting stuck near a Mystery Box.
    • The Mystery Box now functions properly when Players give the Friendly AI candy and then activate the box.
    • Fixed an issue where the Friendly AI would freeze and become unresponsive if he was hit by a high damage weapon while performing a turn animation.
    • The Friendly AI no longer becomes stuck in the Mansion if the Player has him take the rear entrance to the Mansion, near the Hedge Maze.
    • The Friendly AI no longer gets stuck on top of the Saloon if the Player shoots him while carrying candy or booze.
    • Fixed an issue where the Vulture-Aid Mystery Box indicator would permanently remain at box locations if the Player used the Friendly AI to bring the box to that location.
    • The Friendly AI no longer becomes stuck if he’s hit with a high damage weapon during his flinch animation.
    • Fixed an issue where the Friendly AI would become stuck when fed candy to retrieve buildables in the Saloon, prior to opening the front door and the debris blocking the staircase.
    • Zombies no longer get stuck in the ground outside the Mortuary by the Mystery Box location.
    • Fixed an issue where Players would occasionally spawn under the map in a 4-Player game.
    • Zombies now path to the correct location when Players stand in Vulture-Aid stink.

    • The Time Bomb now functions correctly if the Player has both the Time Bomb and the Monkey Bomb in their inventory.
    • Fixed multiple issues in Grief, where Players would spawn in Last Stand when respawning in the Stables, Candy Shop, Church, alongside the Saloon, outside the General Store, or on the Mansion-side of the map.
    • Players are no longer able to use the Paralyzer to get stuck in a tree outside the Mansion.
    • Fixed an issue with zombies occasionally getting stuck when dropping down to the Gazebo stairs.
    • The Speed Cola Machine is now properly positioned in the General Store during Grief.
    • Fixed an issue where Players were able to trigger ghosts without fully dropping down into the Mansion.
    • Zombies who turn into ghosts now enter the Hedge Maze properly.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops II gamers on Xbox 360 will be able to purchase and download today third and latest multiplayer map "Vengeance".

    Treyarch and Activision has just released Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC. It is now available for download on Xbox Live.

    Treyarch has just released a new patch for PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The patch addresses number of significant issues faced by PS3 gamers as well as adds new features.

    Feature Improvements

    • Added Prestige Level Calling Cards for each Prestige Level.
    • Players will now control the last Scorestreak called when calling in multiple remote controllable Scorestreaks.
    • Updated the League Lobbies to display Team Rank next to each Team Member’s name.
    • Added Suicide and Team Killed Penalties to the Game Rules/Spawn Settings Menu for Custom Games.
    • Added a feature to kick players if they suicide too often in a game.

    Multiplayer Issues Addressed

    • Fixed an issue reported by the community where the Lodestar view remains on screen if the VTOL Warship is destroyed after being previously kicked from the VTOL due to friendly fire.
    • Updated Menus to combat exploits reported by the community.
    • Addressed a persistent Counter UAV issue that occurred during host migrations.
    • Fixed an issue reported by the community where the player was not earning any progress for the Chopper Hunter Field Specialist challenge.
    • Fixed an issue reported by the community where C4 was doing no damage to enemies if blown up the moment it attaches to a surface.
    • Addressed an issue reported by the community with activating Prestige on a weapon not removing attachments from that weapon in other class sets.
    • Prestige Master icon can now be seen as the ‘next Prestige’ when players reach the max Prestige Level.
    • Resolved an issue with the Orbital VSAT Scorestreak losing time during the host migration count down.
    • Resolved a collision issue on Grind which caused the player to become stuck on the vert ramp.
    • Fixed an issue where players were able to place a turret while under the big rig in Aftermath.
    • Addressed a couple issues with the Sentry Gun and AGR Scorestreak tablets remaining open when the player transitions to the Scorestreak while it is being destroyed.
    • The Attachments menu in the After Action Report now indicates the XP a player earns from leveling up a weapon.
    • Resolved an issue where players would lose control of Sentry Guns if they take control of it while it is being destroyed.
    • Fixed an issue with Turret and Guardian placement within certain objects in Aftermath.
    • Improved performance in Theater when a player Previews a Clip over and over again while their Clips in the Timeline Editor are maxed out.
    • Fixed an issue with the environment disappearing when dying and spectating the water in Carrier.
    • The music now plays for everyone during the Final Killcam.
    • Addressed an issue on PlayStation 3 where the Listen In toggle, while CODcasting, was listening to all whether it was toggled on or not.
    • Fixed an issue in Theater where the camera viewed under the map while watching players that had not spawned in.
    • Resolved an issue with the AGR icon only appearing on the mini-map when it was firing both the machine gun and rockets at the same time.
    • Resolved an issue with the Victory/Defeat screen not accurately displaying the amount of XP a player had earned in Objective based game modes on Combat Training.
    • Addressed multiple issues with reloading the War Machine Scorestreak.
    • Adjusted the Scoreboard columns when CODcasting Free For All to display points in the first column instead of player score.
    • Fixed an issue with the HUD pushing off the screen when CODcasting in Theater during a round transition.

  • Black Ops II getting Double XP Event, begins on April 12, details revealed

    Treyarch has just announced a double XP event for Call of Duty: Black Ops II across all platforms. The event will begin on April 12 and will last until early morning of April 15.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops 2This Black Ops II double XP event will allow gamers to earn twice the normal amount of experience (double weapon experience not included) from the game’s multiplayer mode.

    Furthermore, gamers will also be able to level up their prestige rank in Black Ops II easily as personal experience will be doubled over his entire weekend.

    • Resolved a collision issue on Grind which caused the player to become stuck on the vert ramp.

    Treyarch via Black Ops II in-game message has announced a double XP weekend across all platforms.

    Black Ops 2According to details revealed by Treyarch, Black Ops II double XP weekend will begin on April 12 at 10am PST and will end on April 15 at 10am PST to celebrate the release of Uprising.

  • First Black Ops II Uprising DLC Trailer Released

    Treyarch has just officially announced second Black Ops II DLC. Its called "Uprising", and includes four new Multiplayer maps (Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio, a reimagining of the classic map Firing Range).
