  • Last Black Ops double XP weekend live now, 24/7 Nuketown also returns

    Treyarch has confirmed on its official Twitter account that a double XP weekend for Black Ops is now live for Xbox 360 and PS3. The developer also confirmed that 24/7 Nuketown returns as well.

    On Twitter, Treyarch said, "You heard the man. Double XP is now live for 360 and PS3. Nuketown 24/7 returns. Enjoy the weekend".

  • COD: Black Ops "Rezurrection" DLC announced, first screenshots out

    Treyarch has announced a new DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops titled as "Rezurrection". The DLC will launch on August 23 for Xbox 360, on PSN and PC it will launch at somepoint next month.

  • COD: Black Ops PS3 patch v1.11 available now

    Treyarch has released a new patch update for PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops. To download this new patch v1.11 all you need to do is restart the game, a message will appeared which will prompt you to download the update.

    This new patch brings few security updates, but most important things is that it implements fourth DLC for the game Annihilation. The developer has also announced a double XP weekend for COD: Black Ops to celebrate the launch of Annihilation DLC.

  • Black Ops Annihilation DLC dated for PS3 and PC

    Activision has just a while ago announced that COD: Black Ops Annihilation DLC will be coming to PS3 on July 28. On the Official PlayStation Blog, blogger Dan Amrich announced the date.

  • Black Ops: Annihilation first multiplayer trailer

    Activision has released a new multiplayer video of third DLC pack "Annihilation" for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The DLC is slated to launch on Xbox Live on June 28.

    Annihilation features four new multiplayer maps Hangar 18, Drive-In, Silo, Hazard and one Zombies map. For PS3 and PC, the DLC will launch at later date, watch the trailer below:

  • Black Ops third DLC is "Annihilation", launch date revealed

    Yesterday an advertisment of Call of Duty: Black Ops upcoming DLC was leaked online. Today a new image has surface and it revealed the title and release date of the DLC.

    The third DLC is titled as "Annihilation" and it will launch on 6-28-11. No official announcement yet from Activision or Treyarch.

    According to the details revealed by the image, the DLC features following multiplayer maps:

    • HANGAR 18
    • SILO
    • DRIVE-IN
    • HAZARD

    The zombie map in the DLC still remains unnamed but it is labeled as "“Obliterate the Zombies”." Check out the images below:

  • Treyarch: Black Ops Double XP, Nuketown 24/7 Weekend Starts 10 July

    Treyarch has announced a double XP weekend for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii version of Call of Duty: Black Ops. The developer confirmed that the double XP Weekend for the game will begin tomorrow.

    Exact timing for double XP weekend are Friday the 10th at 10am PDT and lasting through Monday the 13th at 10am PDT.

    Treyarch also confirmed that Nuke town 24/7 will be returning to Xbox for the weekend.

  • Treyarch: Black Ops Mod Tools will not launch tonight

    Cesar Stastny, Director of Technology at Treyarch has announced on Twitter that Mod tools for Call of Duty: Black Ops released on Steam has been postponed due to couple of issues.

    On his personal Twitter acccount Cesar Stastny wrote:

    Sorry guys, mod tools will not release tonight. We need to sort a couple of things out first. I will keep you posted.

    The Mod Tools for Black Ops was initailly slated to release on May 31.

  • COD: Black Ops patch v1.09 available now for PS3 and Xbox 360

    Treyarch has released a new patch v1.09 for PS3 and Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops. To download the patch all gamers need to do is start the game, a message will appear which will prompt you to download the patch.

    This new patch carries fix for various bugs in the game, and also improved and stabilize the matchmaking in online mode.

  • CoD: Black Ops Zombies officially announced

    After the great success of the Nazi Zombie Mode in Call of Duty: World at War Activision just announced come back Zombies for Black Ops.

    "Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops," says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia.

    "We've taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans."

    Call of Duty: Black Ops will be published on 9 November for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Additionally for fans who can't wait for the November 9th release of Call of Duty: Black Ops can hone their zombie combat skills on iPhone and iPod Touch starting tomorrow with the newest map release for Call of Duty: ZOMBIES.
