  • Issues Discovered in Dead or Alive 5 Patch 1.03, Correct Update coming in February 2013: Team Ninja

    Yesterday Team Ninja released new patch 1.03 for PS3 version of Dead or Alive 5 (a massive patch weighing 227MB), and tofay it has been discovered that the patch has some problem.

    Furthermore, Team Ninja has stated that patch 1.03 for Xbox 360 version of Dead or Alive 5 has been put on hold (it was originally planned to release on Jan 29). A correct update will be released in February 2013, Team Ninja has assured Dead or Alive 5 gamers, however exact release date was not revealed.

    Tecmo Koei has announced some interesting new details about Dead or Alive 5 PS VITA version via press release. The first and the foremost thing is that, PS VITA version of Dead or Alive 5 will run at 60FPS (i.e identical frame-rate as that of Xbox 360 and PS3).

  • Dead or Alive 5 Plus Demo Build runs at Almost 60 FPS: Yosuke Hayashi

    At a recently concluded DOA5 Official Tournament 2012 in Tokyo, Yosuke Hayashi stated that Dead or Alive 5 Plus for PS VITA is still in development phase, and current build of the game runs at ALMOST 60 FPS.

    He further added, "We do not want the Vita port be seen by players as being inferior to the console versions, so we want to keep the game’s high-quality visuals and have it run silky smooth."

    This is really a great news for all PS VITA owners and Dead or Alive franchise fans. Japanese Gaming website Gamer captured Hayashi playing a development build of Dead or Alive 5 Plus at the event. Check out the image below.

  • Dead or Alive 5 upcoming costume DLC packs first look revealed

    An brand new image of Dead or Alive 5 has popped online showcasing the first costume DLC pack for the game. The image features DLC costumes for fighters Helena, Kokoro, Mila and Tina.

    You guys can check out the image below. Last week Tecmo Koei announced that first set of costumes pack will launch on PS Store on October 2.

  • Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition Out of Stock at GameStop and more

    It has been officially confirmed that Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition is Out of Stock. Going by the details from GameStop and EB Games official website, Xbox 360 version of DOA5 Collector's Edition is out of stock.

    PS3 version is still available for pre-orders. No details yet as to whether this Out of Stock is a nationwide occurrence or limited to GameStop or EB Games Stores.

    If you want to buy Dead or Alive 5 Collector's Edition, make your choice soon and go for PS3 version before it is too late.

  • First Dead or Alive 5 Review Score out now

    The first review score of Dead or Alive 5 is out now. Popular Japanese magazine has awarded the game a near perfect score (36/40). As you all know very well, video games are graded in Famitsu by a panel of four video game reviewers. Each reviewer gives a score from zero to ten (ten being best).
