    This year's GamesCom is not even over when the dates for next years gamescom already reveal. Its revealed from the Gamescom poster itself, look below.

    It shows that the largest European event for video games will be take place from 17 August 2011 to 21 August 2011 in Cologne.

  • PlayStation Move - Best Hardware of GamesCom 2010

    In the race for the best hardware at GamesCom 2010, Sony's PlayStation Move controller brings price at home.

    That would be even a small victory in the battle between Sony and Microsoft best to control movement. The jury, consisted of renowned experts in the publishing and media sector, decided PlayStation Move was the best hardware on show.

  • F1 2011 to get Split Screen Mode

    With the release of F1 2010, Codemasters already said words on next version i.e. F1 2011. Codemasters confirmed at Gamescom that F1 2011 will have an interesting feature.

    Steve Hood, Chief Game Designer has mentioned in a conversation that, in F1 2011 a split-screen mode is included. Thus, the two players will be able to play on one console.

    However F1 2010 is to publish in September this year.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 - Collector's Edition confirmed

    Alex Pavey, European Product Manager to SCEE has confirmed that there will be the release of Collector's Edition  for LittleBigPlanet 2 in Europe.

    According to Alex Pavey details on the content is still currently being ironed out because these are precisely determined, as here we have country specific differences. But we hope soon to hear more of them including an official release. This is still missing for Europe.

    Pavey also confirmed a pre-order program which will be there, but currently there is still no info.

  • Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Beta Dated

    The exclusive multiplayer beta for Assassins Creed: Brotherhood starts at 04 October 2010, as Ubisoft has now confirmed today at Gamescom.

    To participate you can pre-order the game at any Online retailer like Amazon, and you'll get an access key. Remember that as of now the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer beta is PS3 exclusive.

    Assassin's Creed will be releasing this fall for the platform of Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and also for PC.

  • Resident Evil 5 Move Patch Next Month

    There is good news for Resident Evil 5 players, It will receive the PlayStation Move compatibility next month. But for only Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition holders, due to some technical issues with original version.

    Today Capcpm at Gamescom reveal that next month it will release Resident Evil 5 patch which will introduce Move functionality in game.

    The patch is dated for 19th September.  However Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition is not released in all countries yet, so there is no need to worry, because Capcom will release the Resident Evil 5: Move Edition soon in those countries.

  • Michael Jackson: The Experience game tracks revealed

    Today at Gamescom, Ubisoft revealed the tracks list of Michael Jackson The Experience upcoming dance game. Ubisoft also shows the Wii version of this game at Gamescom. The Kinect version is expected to come in Holiday 2010. 

    The game will feature many of Michael Jackson's hits, for now the tracks announced are:

    • Beat It
    • Billie Jean
    • Earth Song
    • The Girl Is Mine
    • Who Is It
    • Workin' Day And Night
  • Just Dance 2 tracks list announced

    Ubisoft has announced the Just Dance 2 full tracks list today at Gamescom in Cologne. Just Dance 2 will feature more than 40 uniquely choreographed tracks. Just Dance 2 also introduces a new team dance-off contest mode, which allows up to eight players and one more Duet Mode where each player will follow different dance steps and poses. Just Dance 2 is set to release on 15 October.

  • MAG to get PlayStation Move compatibility and New Beta Program

    During the conference at Gamescom, Sony has confirmed to be release an update for the MAG m which will make it compatible with Playstation Move, isn't it nice? Along with Move compatibility update there is also info revealed about the Mag Beta program, which will start from 24 August, and all existing Mag game copy owners can take a part in it.

    Although there is no release date announced for that PlayStation Move compatibility update yet.

  • PS3 Slim Gets Two New Models

    Sony has announced two new models of the PS3 Slim at Gamescom. The first one will be released on October 2 in Europe, will be having 160GB hard drive and will come at a price of £249.9, basically replace the standard 120GB.

    In addition, on September 15, Sony will launch another model of PS3 Slim, this time with 320GB hard drive and with PlayStation Move bundle, the game and the Sports Champions PlayStation Eye camera , all for £284.99. These packs will also available in North America around the same time.
