At E3 2018, id Software came out with a quick teaser announcing that they were working on something called DOOM Eternal. So, not simply “DOOM 2,” which was what people were expecting them to go on after the original 2016 reboot.
Bethesda has just released the RAGE: The Scorchers DLC. This first add-on pack is now available for download for gamers across Europe on Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
In RAGE: The Scorchers, players will battle an all-new maniacal bandit clan, wreak havoc with new brutally efficient weapons and explore undiscovered areas. Fight alongside new allies to thwart the Scorcher clan’s deadly plot to destroy the Wasteland.
The DLC also includes ‘Ultra-Nightmare’, a new high difficulty mode, as well as an ‘Extended Play’ option that allows you to play past the original ending of the videogame – giving you the opportunity to finish collecting items and Achievements/Trophies.
So what are you waiting for guys, enjoy your time with RAGE: The Scorchers DLC because it took a long time coming, isn't it?.
According to id Software co-founder John Carmack many Xbox 720 and PS4 (next generation) games will still run at 30FPS and not at 60FPS.
On Twitter a fan asked Carmack about 30 FPS in next generation games. To this, he simply replied, "@razor unfortunately, i can pretty much guarantee that lot of next gen games will still target 30 fps"

iD Sofware has finally commmented on leaked screenshots of Doom 4. The publisher of the game didn't said anything about these Doom 4 leaked screenshots, however iD Software's Matthew Hooper didn't shy and went ahead and made some comments about it.
Matthew Hooper was asked whether these leaked screenshots are taken from earlier build of Doom 4?. Hooper simply replied, "these shots have nothing to do with what we’re gonna see in Doom4" and fans will be amazed when developer will officially show things from the game.
The response of Hopper is simple and clear. You all can notice that Hopper did not deny those screenshots, and so we can now go ahead and declare them official screenshots from Doom 4 (early build). Check out Doom 4 Leaked Screenshots.
4chan has never been a trusted source, but this time it seems like it has revealed correct details. According to 4chan user, Id Software much awaited and highly anticipated game Doom 4 has been canned.

Game Informer News Editior Jim Reilly has just confirmed on his personal Twitter account that Doom 4 is not canceled. Jim Reilly tweeted: "Bethesda says Doom 4 is not canceled".
Whether the screenshots are of Doom 4, it is not yet confirmed.
