    Microsoft Kinect has been priced for UK, an online retailer ShopTo has listed the Microsoft's Kinect for £129.99 and release date a 19th November 2010. The package listed will consist of

    • Kinect Sensor
    • Power Supply
    • Wi-Fi Extension cable
    • A Kinect Game (No Detail Yet)
    • Manual

    There are many more online retailers who listed this above Kinect Package but only ShopTo has given it a price and release details. Other Details listed by the retailer about the Kinect is

    • 175 MB of free space (Required by Kinect Driver and other software)
    • Kinect has trackin ability of upto 6 person but only two can be active at a given time
    • Almost 20 joints of player who is active can be tracked by Kinect.
  • Kinect Price confirmed it's $150

    Now after much hype surrounding the price of Kinect, its is now officially announced by Microsoft, it will be up for grab at a price tag of $150. Kinect was officially puts on the Microsoft Store overnight and the price was reveal at that time.

    Kinect Product Page reads as, “Kinect brings games and entertainment to life in extraordinary new ways,” which points out that it dosn't require controller. Microsoft early stated that the price details will be reveal at Gamescom so we can expect that the UK price detail will be reveal then.

  • Kinect manufacturing costs revealed

    At E3 2010, Microsoft showcase Kinect (Project Natal) but they didn't reveal any price details for it. According to some reports doing around Kinect is costing something around $150 to the manufacturer and it is the same price what some of the online retailer are listing for accessory

    But even after stacking all the evidence Microsoft are still denying the rumors doing the round in this regards, the Kinect is slated to be release on 4th November and it is expected that price of it will be reveal by Microsoft around that time only.

    Finally we got official info on new Xbox 360 slim marketing and pricing. An internal marketing Q&A for Microsoft confirmed that new version Xbox 360 will be coming this year for $199. It will replace the on going $149 Arcade which is no longer in production anymore.

    In addition its also been confirmed that Kinect will come as bundle with XBox 360, of which price is not officially confirmed yet. But according to on going talks on it, it will cost around $399 for Elite and $299 for Arcade.

  • Kinect price ‘closer to launch’

    After Sony reveal its Move motion controller along with its release and price detail, now it is expected and a some sort of pressure on Microsoft to reveal the details of Kinect, but it seems there is no pressure on them from the wording of Microsoft European Boss Chris Lewis.

    Talkin to VG247, he said, “We haven’t said yet when we’ll come out with a price point but it will be in a timely way, for retail to have a plan for the consumers to be able to plan the expenditure.

    “All I will say to you again, is that we will offer great value. We need to do that in particular to this audience that we are aspiring to appeal to and we know that we have to resonate well there. And our track record over the past ten years – I hope has proven to people that we have an appetite to remain competitive. I mean, we have to.”

    He further adds, "I am pleased to say that in Europe it will also get a November launch right across the key markets, which is great,” he added. “We’re making sure of that as Don Mattrick is very fixated on synchronizing this and making sure that Europe is absolutely instep with the US and other parts of the globe."

    So if you are waiting for pricing details of Kinect from Microsoft than you have to wait till it come closer to launch which is in November.
