  • Ezio costume for LittleBigPlanet 2 coming on Nov 15

    Media Molecule has just announced that a brand new Ezio costume for Sackboy will be made available for all LittleBigPlanet 2 gamers on November 15 to celebrate the launch on Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition coming in November

    Sony has revealed a Special Edition of LittleBigPlanet 2 that includes all game's DLC for North America. According to the details revealed by Sony on PS Blog, this special edition of the game will launch on November 15.

    LittleBigPlanet 2 Special Edition features:

    • PlayStation Move support: Support for Move controls
    • LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack: Rise of the Cakeling: Five new levels, seven mini-levels, new items and Move tools for the level editor.
    • Disney/Pixar's Toy Story Level Pack- Five new levels, two mini-levels, alien costume and more.
    • Disney/Pixar's Toy Story Costume Pack - Buzz Lightyear, Slinky Dog, Hamm, and Rex costumes for Sackboy.
    • Pets Costumes - All 12 from the Cats Costume Pack, Dogs Costume Pack, and Even More Animals Costume Pack.

    Gamers in North America will also get LittleBigPlanet 2 Move bundle on November 15. It includes special edition, a Move controller, a Move navigation controller and an Eye Camera.

  • Final Fantasy VII costume pack for LittleBigPlanet will launch tomorrow

    Final Fantasy VII Costume Pack for LittleBigPlanet 2 will launch in Japan tomorrow. The DLC will feature Cloud, Sephiroth, Aerith, Tifa and silhouette character.

    Final Fantasy VII Costume Pack for LittleBigPlanet 2 will be available for ¥600 for the set of five. Gamers can buy each of the characters except silhouette character for ¥200 each.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 passes 4 million level mark

    Sony has revealed some whooping numbers related to LittleBigPlanet 2 level, according to the figure the game has now surpassed 4 million level, to be more specific "4,141,742" (enough to keep gamers busy for more than 78 hours).

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 "Teacher Pack" DLC unveiled

    Media Molecule, developer of PS3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet 2 has announced a new Teacher Pack DLC for the game. The pack will feature various new levels which will be used as actual educational demonstration tools.

    According to the details revealed by developer, teachers will boot up the pack and allow the student to play through various levels in it with the help of PS Move while learning all the new bunch of stuff.

    Well we are still not sure what school teacher will teach to student with this new pack for LittleBigPlanet 2, but it sounds very interesting.

  • UK Charts: Dead Space 2 remove LittleBigPlanet 2 from top spot

    Details about this week UK Charts is out now, and its Visceral horror "Dead Space 2" that has claimed the top position, replacing last week topper LittleBigPlanet 2.

    Dead Space 2 also topped the Xbox 360 chart, whereas it lands in second place on PS3 abd PC charts. LittleBigPlanet lands in at second spot, with EA's FIFA 11 at third. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Black Ops completes top five.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 Requires Mandatory pre-installation before starting up

    In less than two weeks LittleBigPlanet 2 will finally appears, but before heading towards the game, players should know one important thing that the game require a manadatory pre-installation before starting up.

    Players need to make sure that they have atleast a total of 1.5GB HDD space available, economically 1430MB HDD space is required.

    LittleBigPlanet 2 releases in North America on January 18, in Europe on January 19, Australia and New Zealand on January 20 and in United Kindom on Janusry 21.

    SCEE has announced that the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta is live now to Playstation Plus Subscriber in Europe.

    However it is limited to very few selective one's, so if you are a Playstation Plus check your email now you might fall into these selective one's category.

    For unlucky PlaystationPlus subscribers who misses out on beta, Sony is offering Move spin-off Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves for free of cost. So don't waste your time.

  • Sony Confirmed LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's Edition for Europe

    It was always on the card, Just a while ago Sony has officially confirmed that LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's Edition will be coming out in Europe.

    LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector's Edition for Europe will consist of

    •     A tin SteelBook case
    •     Five PSN avatars
    •     Seven DLC costumes (TRON, Toy Story, Muppets, Even More Animals)

    Gamers will also get their hands on Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank costumes as these items will be available as pre-order items.

    LittleBigPlanet 2 comes out on Playstation 3 in January 2011.

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 will have 10 levels of Move Demo at launch

    After announcing the delay of LittleBigPlanet 2 till January 2011, the creators Media Molecule have declared the disc of the game will launch with ten levels of demonstration with Move the PlayStation controller.

    According to community manager confirms Media Molecule, James Spafford :

    "With the main game there will be an extra game - possibly on another disc, maybe on the same disk - that will contain 10-ish levels that demonstrate how Move could work with LittleBigPlanet 2. And shortly after release we'll do a full DLC pack that's purely Move, and we'll give away the free controls so people can make their own Move levels as well".

    Apart from this also confirmed that following the launch of the game, they will also launch a full downloadable content that will give full support for the PlayStation 3.
