Bioware has announced an excellent reward scheme for gamers affected by Mass Effect 2 CD glitch. The publisher has announced that players affected by this Black Ops 2/Mass Effect 2 CD glitch will receive a download code of Mass Effect Trilogy PC for FREE of COST.
All you need to do is send in a picture of yourself next to the screen with the error, with DISC 2 in your hand. You can send your picture to Bioware a this email address ("firstname.lastname@example.org"). Only first 50 gamers will receive this compensation announced by Bioware. So hurry up guys.
Bioware wrote on their official blog: "If you were one of the affected, chances are you thought it was a mistake, but we prefer to think that it was an omen, and when the universe talks, you should listen."
Bioware has just issued a statement and confirmed that Mass Effect 3 development team is currently working on a fix for character importing feature.
According to reports from gamers, as soon as they attempt to import Mass Effect 2 save to Mass Effect 3, an error message appears declaring the game's inability to import character's custom face.
On all this issue, Bioware said, "We are aware that some players are having issues importing the faces of characters from Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3. The issue is likely in how faces were detected when imported from Mass Effect 1 into Mass Effect 2, and we're working on the best way to correct it for affected players."
As a temporary fix for Mass Effect 3 PC gamers, Bioware referes to a this "fan-made tool". Check it out HERE.

The winners of this year's Canadian Videogame Awards has been announced, and its Mass Effect 2 that has bagged GOTY beating Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Dead Rising 2 and many more.
The Bioware game won three other awards also, Best Game Design, Best Writing, and Console Game of the Year. Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood won for Best Audio and Best Visual Arts, whereas ModNation Racers got its hand on Innovation Award, and DeatSpank won Best Download Game.

Bioware just a while ago announced the release date for the last DLC pack for Mass Effect 2 "Arrival". The DLC will launch on March 29, it lead up to the event of Mass Effect 3.
Mass Effect 2: Arrival will also feature three new achievements for Xbox 360 and PC, and three new trophies for PS3. It will cost Xbox 360 gamers 560 MSP, PS3 gamers can get it for £5.49 whereas PC gamers can buy it for 560 Bioware Points.
In Mass Effect: Arrival, Commander Shepard is sent to the edge of the galaxy to rescue an undercover operative who may have evidence of an imminent Reaper invasion that has been looming since the very beginning of the series.
Giving out the details Casey Hudson, Executive Producer, Mass Effect series said, “All year, we have been extremely honored and humbled by the reception we have received for Mass Effect 2 from players around the world, including our post release DLC”
“Mass Effect: Arrival is an exciting extension to Mass Effect 2 and will show players just how close the Reapers are to returning and completing their deadly harvest.”

The release date for the last DLC titled "Arrival" for Mass Effect 2 is not yet out, however developer today revealed one new screenshot for it that will surely tease us. The "Arrival" DLC is the last DLC for the game, which lead up to the event of Mass Effect 3. No further information has been revealed on the said DLC.
