The first details regarding next Call of Duty game, which will release in 2014, has been leaked by an anonymous source close to OnlySp. The source leaked that Call of Duty game in 2014 will be next installment in Modern Warfare series, and it is currently in development at Sledgehammer Games.
The source further leaked: "The game is set in the year 2018 as a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 3 with the game taking place across Europe and Asia."
In addition to this, "Captain Price and Nikolai are set to make a return as the two main lead characters and will return to their roles in the British SAS."
"SAS will play a major role in the campaign, most likely being the main focus instead of switching all around different soldiers and teams as in previous Modern Warfare installments."
"Nikolai will also be a playable character at some point in the game and will actually talk, a first for the Call of Duty series, excepting Price."
Last but not the least, the source went on to state that "Shepherd is not dead, and he will be the main villain in the game". Furthermore, there will be some sort of stealth mission, and it will take place Amsterdam and Shanghai.
We advice our readers to take these details with a grain of salt, as these are still unconfirmed.

Activision has removed the controversial Favela multiplayer map from Modern Warfare 2 due to complaints and protests from Muslim Community.
It was reported that gamers found few offensive image one room of the game. The publisher has promised that the map will return once again after removal of controversial part.
Two paintings were found in one room of Favela map with islamic verses written on it. Translation of the verse, "Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty".
The muslim community protested because the painting was found inside a bathroom and over a toilet. Activision has apologized and said:
We apologize to anyone who found this image offensive. Please be assured we were unaware of this issue and that there was no intent to offend. We are working as quickly as possible to remove this image and any other similar ones we may find from our various game libraries.
We are urgently working to release a Title Update to remove the texture from Modern Warfare 3. We are also working to remove the texture from Modern Warfare 2 through a separate Title Update. Until the TU is ready, we have removed the Favella multiplayer map from online rotation.
Activision and our development studios are respectful of diverse cultures and religious beliefs, and sensitive to concerns raised by its loyal game players. We thank our fans for bringing this to our attention.
If details revealed by a trusted source is anything to go by then, the next Modern Warfare title will not be a direct successor of Modern Warfare 2, but rather a prequel of Call of Duty 4, and it will not be created on an all new game engine. This info has been leaked to thisisxbox.
The gameplay story will be mainly about the character "Ghost", which first appeared in Modern Warfare 2, and the gameplay events will revolve around the things which led to war in Call of Duty 4.
Neither Activision nor Infinity Ward have so far commented on the rumor, so its still wait and watch situation for all of us.
