Check out the gameplay trailer of Kano, who is the second playable character introduced for the X version of the Mortal Kombat series. Kano is the leader of The Black Dragon and has three unique fighting abilities or styles: "Cutthroat", "Cybernetic" and "Commando." This trailer is explained by the series creator Ed Boon.
Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat series creator has revealed some interesting new details regarding upcoming Mortal Kombat game, Mortal Kombat X. Boon confirmed that for Mortal Kombat X, development team has used highly self customized version of Unreal Engine 3.
In addition to this, Boon revealed the resolution and FPS figure at which the game will run on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, its glorious 1080p and 60 FPS.
"Are you guys using Unreal Engine 3 or 4? EB: Using our highly self-customized version of Unreal 3. 60fps 1080p!" reads a tweet from Ed Boon.
Furthermore, Boon revealed that Mortal Kombat X will be shown on all three days of E3 2014 and there will be some brand new fighters.
"Will we see brand new fighters? EB: Yup!"
"do you know what day MKX will be shown on E3 ? First day or second ? EB: All 3 days."

Warner Bros has released the first official screenshots from the PC version of Mortal Kombat. The game is schedule to launch on July 3, 2013 and will feature dynamic gameplay including Tag Team, Challenge Tower and Story mode.
In addition to this, PC version of Mortal Kombat will supports Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition fight stick and will also deliver full controller capability.
PC gamers will be able to select from an extensive line-up of game's iconic fighters and challenge their friends in traditional 1 vs 1 matches or can even have a sepctate battles.

Warner Bros has released new video trailer for Playstation VITA version of Mortal Kombat. In this new trailer, the publisher shows new exclusive costumes that will be available in the handheld version of Mortal Kombat.
The story description of Mortal Kombat reads, "after centuries of Mortal Kombat, Emperor Shao Kahn has finally defeated Raiden and his allies. Faced with extinction, Raiden has one last chance to save Earthrealm. To undo the Emperor's victory, he must strike Shao Kahn where he is vulnerable...the Past."
