  • Motorstorm Apocalypse to get new modes with upcoming update

    On Playstation Blog, Sony has announced that Motorstorm Apocalypse will get a mode editor with its latest patch update. This new Mode Editor will allow gamers to create their very own custom mode. Players will be able to play their own game modes in both online and offline.

    Gamers will also be able to share their customized vehicles with anyone around the world. Motorstorm Apocalypse will also be updated to support PS3 enabled steering wheels and the PS Move controller.

  • MotorStorm: Apocalypse multiplayer demo available now

    A multiplayer demo of PS3 exclusive MotorStorm: Apocalypse is now available for download on European PS Store. The good news is that the demo is available for all, but only for limited time period (for one week only.)

    The demo three online races, "The Mile High Club, End of the Line and Ship Shape", and five vechicle types, "Superbike, Buggy, Supercar, Racing Truck and Big Rig".

    The demo will also have support for 2-players split screen and displays in stereoscopic 3D.

  • Motorstorm Apocalypse launch cancelled in Japan

    Sony has cancelled the launch of Motorstorm Apocalypse in Japan. The firm did not provide any reason whatsoever for the cancellation of Motorstorm Apocalypse.

    Previoulsly it was scheduled to launch in early part of March worldwide, but it was delay all because of earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11.

  • Motorstorm Apocalypse launch delayed in UK

    Sony just a while ago announced that Motorstorm Apocalypse launch in United Kingdom has been delayed in United Kingdom.

    A SCE UK spokeperson has told MCV, "Although we have shipped the game into the channel last week, given that we are able to do so, we have chosen to postpone the launch in the UK,"

    "In the meantime we will continue to monitor the situation very closely."

    A SCEE representative added, "We are shocked and saddened to see the impact of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan and our thoughts are with all those affected, including our colleagues within the Sony family, living and working throughout Japan.

    "We are very conscious of the parallels between these events and the underlying theme in Motorstorm and are doing everything we can to be as sensitive as possible to the situation. Although the game itself is already in distribution, we are ceasing any further shipments and removing as much of the marketing materials as possible."

  • MotorStorm: Apocalypse delayed in Japan

    Sony Entertainment Japan has delayed the launch of their upcoming racer MotorStorm 3 (MotorStorm: Apocalypse in other part of world) in the territory. The reason company gave out for the delay, certain stages in the game feature city devastated by earthquake, is very much identical to what we see in Japan today.

    Sony didn't specify the exact delay time period, new release date will be announced soon, so stay tuned for more update on this.

  • MotorStorm Apocalypse first developer diary detailed Wreckreation mode

    Evolution Studios, developer of MotorStorm Apocalypse has released a very first developer diary for the game in which they detailed the game's Wreckreation’ mode.

    In the video footage below you will be taken deeper into in the suite of diverse multiplayer and solo game modes,” to “learn more about the flexible, rewarding and entertaining game-play experiences Wreckreation has to offer.”

  • MotorStorm: Apocalypse release dates confirmed

    Sony Computer Entertainment Europe confirmed that MotorStorm: Apocalypse will go on sale on 16 March in Europe, while Americans will have to wait until April 12 to enjoy it.

    A bit strange but true, MotorStorm: Apocalypse which is detailed and developed in Cheshire United Kingdom has been dated for Japan.

    Sony has announced that MotorStorm: Apocalypse will be coming out in Japan in March 2011, exact release date will be revealed soon along with more details about the game.

    No words were given out on UK and US release date but according to the reports it will be coming out in Spring 2011.

  • Sony unveils MotorStorm Apocalypse

    Sony has officially announced via its blog on development of a new MotorStorm title for PS3. MotorStorm: Apocalypse, Then so be called the fourth installment of the series (third on the PS3) will put us driving through the streets of a city of San Francisco in the midst of its destruction.

    This new release will have online multiplayer for up to 16 players, and split-screen offline for up to four, with the possibility of combining both. In first images that we bring you can see how vehicles are completely customi zable, run by the city in the throes of destruction. The game will introduce vehicle perks with which you will be able to modify handling, boost, and offensive capabilities. It will also feature loads of online rewards as well as a Game Mode Creator. MotorStorm Apocalypse is scheduled to release early in 2011 for the PS3.
