  • Resistance 3 multiplayer beta launch date announced

    Sony on official PS Blog announced the launch date of Resistance 3 multiplayer beta. European PS Plus subscriber and North American gamers who had received a code with the purchase of SOCOM 4 will get the beta access of August 4.

    European PS Plus subscriber will get beta access on August 10. Playstation Plus subscriber in US will get a beta access on August 23.

    In Resistance 3 multiplayer beta will features Seaside of Glamorgan, Wales, Trainyard in Bogota, and Colombia maps and two multiplayer modes Team Deathmatch and Chain Reaction.

  • Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta ends

    The Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception multiplayer beta which began on June 28 has been ended by the developer. The beta was online for nearly three weeks, and it gave gamers access to several different modes as well as three competitve maps (Chateau, Airstrip, and Yemen). It also gave access to game's customisation features.

  • Naughty Dog confirms Uncharted 3 beta reaches 1.5 million unique gamers

    Naughty Dog's Co-president, Christophe Balestra has just announced that Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta has reached 1.5 million players in just over three weeks time period.

    On his personal Twitter account, Balestra said, "the #uncharted3 beta has reached 1.5 million unique players today. Thank you all for your playing. Just a few more hours to go…"

    Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta will end on July 14. Full game is schedule to launch on November 1 for PS3.

  • Naughty Dog comments on Uncharted 3 ongoing beta issue (Updated)

    Naughty on their official Twitter account has commented on the current issue that Uncharted 3 beta gamers are facing. The developer said that currently they are looking at the issue where Uncharted 3 beta gamers have had their profiles details reset.

    According to developer, the issue will be fixed within an hour or so. Check out below what Naughty Dog tweeted:

    "If you've experienced a rank and profile reset in #uncharted3 beta - we're aware. We'll give you an update on within the hour"


    Just a while ago Naughty Dog on its official blog said:

    "we won’t be able to update your profile back to your current level,
    cash and unlocks. Unfortunately, that means all affected players will
    not be able to check their progress towards the requirements for the
    Beta rewards.”

    The developer apologised for the issue and further added:

    "finding these kinds of issues early is (thankfully) what a Beta period is for.”

    “We know that losing your progress and not having an easy way to find out if you’ve hit the Beta requirements is extremely frustrating. We hope that knowing that your hard-earned progress to date has not actually been lost is some consolation,"

  • Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta patch 1.02 available now (Updated)

    Naughty Dog has just released the second patch update for Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta. The patch 1.02 is now available for download for all.

    The developer has not yet posted the complete change log for this newest patch for Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta, we will update this article when Naughty Dog gives us the official details.

    Update: (CHANGE LOG)


    • Last place team in Three Team Deathmatch now gets placed into Observer Mode in Sudden Death


    • Disabled the accumulation of medals to stack Medal Kickback activations. Now, if your Medal Kickback is waiting to be activated, you cannot earn more medals that count towards your Medal Kickback counter until you have activated your current Medal Kickback. Players will still be awarded medals
    • Disabled the activation of a Power Play after 40 kills have been reached in Team Deathmatch
    • Increase the minimum time between Power Plays activating from 30 seconds to 60 seconds


    • Made updates to reduce the long Matchmaking wait times some players were experiencing
    • Fixed an issue where some in-game objects would not be able to be picked up by players
    • Fixed an issue where the idol in Plunder would not reset properly. The Plunder idol will now reset to one of the specified idol spawn points
    • Fixed an issue in which the team with the least amount of kills could potentially win in Sudden Death even if they finished the game with less kills than the first place team
    • Fixed issue with the game timer hitting 0:00 in Co-op Hunter and the match not ending properly
    • Fixed instances where some players would take damage through the shield in Co-op matches
    • Fixed issues which caused some players to experience trouble connecting to Multiplayer
    • Fixed an issue where some PS3 consoles would hard reset under certain circumstances
    • Added support for early generation HDTV sets that do not support 720p by enabling 1080i upscaling

    User Interface

    • Change “Found Player” notification to reflect the actual player ID in the Matchmaking screen after having completed a match
    • Reduce the waiting time before the vote count down after a match from 30 seconds to 15 seconds
    • Added an option in the Display menu for disabling Uncharted TV
    • Sound from Uncharted TV now plays through TV output instead of the headset
    • Enabled Facebook functionality that was temporarily disabled. Players can now use their PS3 linked Facebook accounts to view the online status of their Facebook friends, send invites,  and join parties
    • Invite notification now appears in the Multiplayer Lobby. Notification will appear as a red asterix in the Invites tab.
    • Added an icon in the upper right corner of the screen to indicate that your buddy wants to High Five. Only appears when you and your buddy have created a “buddy kill” situation and the blue “buddy kill” icon appears on your screen.
    • New font for in-game text and menus


    • Added additional data tracking to aid analysis of matches, player behavior, and other technical information by Naughty Dog
  • Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta goes live for all

    Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception multiplayer beta is now available for download for user of Playstation Network. Gamers who have access to Playstation Store will be able to get their hands on the beta.

    As soon as gamers enter Playstation Store, they will find multiplayer beta as a regular download. The developer has also addded two new gameplay modes, "Team Objective and Co-op Hunters".

  • Naughty Dog updates Uncharted 3 beta with two new gameplay modes

    Naughty Dog has update Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta with two new gameplay modes, the deveoper confirmed this news on its blog.

    The beta will be thrown open to public on Tuesday in United States, however no details were revealed related to exact timeframe. The developer also confirmed that gamers no longer need a PS Plus subscribtion or entry code to try it out.

    The two new gameplay mode added are "Team Objective and Co-op Hunters". Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will launch exclusively on PS3 in Novbember.

  • Uncharted 3 beta patch 1.01 is of no use, PS3 freeze issue continue

    Earlier today, Naughty Dog released a patch 1.01 for Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta inorder to fix the freezing and frame rate issues, but it seems like the patch is of no use, as gamers are still reporting that their PS3 is still getting locked completely and required a hard reboot.

    It has been reported that the problem seems to occur after a match is finished, as gamers get "Disconnected from the PlayStation Network" error message. After this, the console gets freeze completely and it require a hard reboot (holding the power button down or switching off directly from rear).

    After the console is rebooted, the multiplayer beta does not connect and gives an error which reads as, "Error Initializing Session Manager" or "Error Getting Ticket."

  • Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta patch 1.01 available now

    Naughty has just released a Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta patch 1.01 for gamers in US. According to the details revealed by developer, the patch will fix performance and other issues that players are experiencing.

    Naughty Dog also announced that the patch for European gamers is on the way.

    Evan Wells said, "The patch was primarily to fix the frequent slowing of the framerate that would eventually lead to freezes. EU patch on it’s way."

    Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta gamers are advised to "Log all the way out of MP, into the XMB and then relaunch the Beta back in."

    Naughty Dog on its personal twitter account also noted: "If your PS3 reboots – that can happen, up to twice, and it should all still work out normally."

  • Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta plague by freezing and frame rate issue, patch in development (Updated)

    The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta did not start on a good note for many gamers, as it has been plagued by system freezes and framerate issues.

    The developer has said that they are currently looking into the matter, but they also mention that these issues are not consistent with everyone, and it will take some time to track the actual cause of the issue.

    On Twitter Naughty said, "Framerate + system freezes: we're looking into this right now it's not consistent or everyone so it's taking a bit of time to track down".

    If you are among one of those experiencing these issue then be patient as Naughty Dog has promised to resolve it as soon as possible.
