  • Resistance 3 will not have 60 players multiplayer mode - Insomniac

The Resistance 2 multiplayer is probably one of the best multiplayer for PlayStation 3. On this basis there are many users who expect great innovations of Insomniac Games for next title in series Resistance 3.

    Resistance 3

However, Marcus Smith, creative director of the project has confirm that the number of users of multiplayer is not yet confirmed but will be reduced: "The approach to multiplayer in Resistance 3 is to really streamline the things that were popular with Resistance 1 and Resistance 2. Obviously, weapon usage is a big one, but we also have our progression through multiplayer, which is a lot tighter. It’s going to reward people as they go."

On the other hand also revealed some of the intentions for design of the maps: "We’re also setting the location of all multiplayer maps in various locations around the world. During the single-player campaign, you’ll be hearing updates of those battles as you’re progressing through the game."

Insomniac wants to make the online mode a little more precise and clearer. Resistance 3 will release exclusively for PS3 in 2011.

A few days ago there appeared a new trailer for Medal of Honor and with it, made it clear the launch date for this game on PS3, XBox 360 and PC: October 12, 2010. For some reason in the same trailer (but in its official game site) appeared a resounding "Pre-order now. Beta coming soon”.
The reason why this important announcement was not released in the first version of the trailer is unknown so far, but it is clear that Medal of Honor is in addition to what you are doing with so much noise Halo: Reach at this time: MoH will be a multiplayer beta.

If the game appears on 12 October is likely to see the beta about 30 days before launch.
