  • Panasonic Canned online handheld "Jungle"

    Panasonic has officially announced that the company has canned their upcoming online hanheld gaming console called "Jungle". According to the reports Panasonic decided decided to suspend further development due to changes in the market and in our own strategic direction.

    Jungle was first announced in October 2010 with a teaser trailer, and back December Panasonic send invitation to U.S Gamers to test the handheld. Bigpoint’s Battlestar Galactica was announced as the launch title.

    As reported earlier by us in October that Panasonic is developing a dedicated handheld gaming console named "Jungle", now more news related to this is that Panasonic yesterday sent out invitation emails to the gamers in United States for testing the console.

    In an email Panasonic said “We know other companies out there have traditional handheld gaming covered,”, “We know other companies out there have traditional handheld gaming covered,”.

  • Panasonic Reveal New Handheld Console JUNGLE

    Two decade ago Panasonic tried to make its presence felt in the gaming industry with 3DO a video game console but unfortunately 3DO failed very badly due to its high cost.

    Now Panasonic has made another attempt to make entry into the video game market with their new handheld game console "Jungle" which will run with a custom build of Linux and will be used for playing online games and MMOs.

    According to the details, Jungle will feature

    • QWERTY Keyboard
    • Touchpad
    • Shoulder Button and D-Pad
    • HDMI Port
    • Micro USB Port
