PAX will introduce Diversity Hubs & Lounge in the next Penny Arcade Expos. The "Roll for Diversity Hub and Lounge" will be the center for communication at PAX, also, networking and better understanding of issues of attendees which they experience every day.
Diversity Hubs will serve as "a resource for PAX attendees to find information related to issues surrounding women, LGBTQ, people of color, disabled people and mental health issues in gaming" and as a "resource for industry professionals and fans to interact in a setting focused on diversity, receive diversity training, learn more about diversity, and meet people from diverse communities".
The idea of “Roll for Diversity Hub and Lounge” at PAX will surly increase the number of attendees next year and it’s really admirable of PAX organizers to think so wisely and help gaming communities and culture. It will be worth watching if these announced Diversity Hubs will serve as we are expecting.
