  • Konami to show Silent Hill: Downpour and PES 2012 at EG Expo

    Eurogamer just a while ago announced that Japanese Publisher Konami will support this year's Eurogamer Expo in Earls Court. Konami will join the likes of EA and Namco Bandai in attending the show.

    The publisher has confirmed that they will have Silent Hill: Downpour and PES 2012 on the showfloor. Eurogamer Expo will take place from September 22-25 at Earls Court, London.

  • PES 2011 to have Platinum and Classics Editions with reduced price

    Konami today announced that the latest installment of its football simulator, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 will have the PlayStation 3 Platinum and Xbox 360 Classics Editions on 31 March with a reduced price. This re-release will come with a retail price of €29.95 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PC version will be available for €14.95.

    Also from March 15 free online update is available for download, which also includes new football boot models.

    The announcement of the Platinum Edition and Classics 'PES 2011' coincides with the launch of the Nintendo 3DS version, which goes on sale along with the new Nintendo handheld, on 25 March.

  • PES 2011 to get new DLC pack on March 15

    Earlier this month PES team leader Jon Murphy on Twitter said that a new DLC content will be coming out for PES 2011 in mid-March, and now details regarding this new DLC content has been revealed.

    This will be the third DLC pack for PES 2011, and will feature the following content:

    • Team updates to reflect winter trades
    • Sweden and Spain uniform updates
    • Cleats!

    It will be coming out on March 15 for PS3 and Xbox 360. Gamers can downlaod the DLC from "Extra Content -> Data Pack menu"

  • PES 2011 new DLC coming Mid March: Jon Murphy

    PES 2011 will receive a new DLC content in mid-March which will feature Team Lineup Updates, New Team Strips and New Football Boots. The new was confirmed by PES team leader Jon Murphy on Twitter.

    Here is what Jon wrote on Twitter: "Okay guys, the New DLC Pack is coming Mid March and will feature Team Lineup Updates, New Team Strips and New Football Boots! Stay tuned!"

  • Konami confirmed PES 2011 3D as 3DS launch title, also revealed bulk of new details

    Konami just a while ago confirmed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 in 3D will be avaialble as a 3DS launch title. It will release on March 25 in Europe.

    As per the details revealed PES 2011 3D will feature a unique kind of camera system for monitoring each and every moments of gamers, that too right in the middle of the unfolding match for enables them to make runs in the channels and moving into space.

    In PES 2011, players get to select a team, from a pool of 60 national side and 170 club sides. There will be both Champions League and Master League. The game will make use of 3DS’s Street Pass system, which will sense when another Master League team is in the vicinity, and will compare the strength of each side, their respective strategies and stats. It will also have support for wireless play of two players.

  • Very First Images for Pro Evolution Soccer 3DS version out now

    At E3 2010 it was officially announced by Konami that they are developing a Nintendo 3DS version of Pro Evolution Soccer, and today we got our hands on the very first image of the game.

    Pro Evolution Soccer is one of the launch games for Nintendo's upcoming handheld console in Japan, so hopefully Europe also get same kind of treatment, but till than check out the image for the below.

  • PES 2011 to get Free DLC on December 21

    Konami has announced that new DLC for PES 2011 will be coming out on December 21 which will add lots of stuff to the game including a 12 kits updates.

    Details about the DLC is given below:

    • Will add 12 kit updates which includes Republic of Ireland and French Club teams
    • 10 new boots from Adidas, Puma, Umbro and Mizuno

    This DLC will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC free of cost.

    Konami announces via press release the release of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 for iPhone and iPod Touch. Among the new features of this year we have a renewed IA, an improved graphic part and new movements in feints and dribbles. Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is now on sale and costs $5.99.
