• PSN network is down due to connection issues (Updated)

    PSN network has been down for number of hours now, previously we thought it might be a minor maintenance schedule, Although it's very unfair to do it during Christmas eve and holiday season.


    Firstly we got the report from readers at different locations of PSN being down. Then we tried connecting it with result in connection issues and ended-up with error code 80710092 with message from Sony:

    "We're aware some users are having issues connecting to the PSN. We are investigating. We expect to have the PSN back up soon and apologize for any inconvenience."

    However few people are able to connect to PSN. You can check status of PSN at this link, it's showing status as Online now but we are still not able to connect. However we will keep updating status here. Feel free to update status at your place in comments below.

    Sony has acknowledge of PSN issue at PlayStation community and requested patience while they fix this issue:

    Hello PlayStation Community,

    We have noticed various reports of connection issues with PSN including, but not limited to friends lists, game download, purchase, and login issues. We are aware of the issues and we appreciate your patience while we investigate.

    Update: 31st December 2013

    After unstability during chrismas time, we were hoping that PSN will stay stable during remaining holiday season, but it doesn't seems to be the case anymore.

    People still experiencing error codes like  80710092, E-820001F7, CE-33743-0, CE-34861-2 and NW-31448-0 and a message saying SEN is currently busy.

    Sony is aware of the issue and posted following message as status update:

    PSN is experiencing significant latency.

    Unfortunately, the PSN is experiencing significant latency issue
    which may prevent you from connecting to the PSN. We are aware of the
    issues and are working to resolve them as quickly as possible. We
    apologize for any inconvenience.

  • Right Now Sony sending out another round of $10 PSN Credits

    Last month Sony sent out a whooping $10 credits to only few select PSN subscribers (no criteria details was revealed for the selection process), and today Sony has sent out another of $10 credits via message on PS3 XMB (obviously to only few select PSN subscribers).

    Playstation NetworkThis latest $10 credit comes with an expiry date of March 25, so PSN subscribers who have receive this credit need to redeem it before March 25 otherwise it'll be useless and expire.

    Furthermore, this latest credit is delivered only to those PSN subscribers who did not receive the last month bonus. Check you inbox now guys.

  • Playstation Network: March 2013 Free Content Details Revealed

    Sony has just revealed the details regarding Free Content that will be coming to Playstation Network in March 2013.

    Playstation NetworkFive games will be available for free of cost to Playstation Plus subscribers in North America and Europe, however list of games differ for both territory. Check out the list below:

  • PSN Maintenance for March 4 Reschedule, Details Revealed

    Sony has revised its plans for March 4 Playstation Network maintenance. As per the details we recieved from Sony, the downtime will now begin at 5:00AM PT on March 4 and will end on 9:00PM (total 17 hours).

    Playstation Network MaintenancePreviously, the downtime was schedule to begin on "16:00 GMT on Monday 4 March 2013 to 03:00 GMT on Tuesday 5 March 2013". During the maintenance period following PSN service will be unable for subscribers (PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP, PlayStation Network Account Management and PlayStation Network Account Registration).

  • PlayStation Network will be down for 11 hours on March 4 for Maintenance

    Sony has just announced that Playstation Network will be down for schedule maintenance on March 4, 2013. The maintenance will last for 11 hours, "begin 16:00 GMT on Monday 4 March 2013 to 03:00 GMT on Tuesday 5 March 2013."

    • PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP
    • PlayStation Network Account Management
    • PlayStation Network Account Registration


  • PSN Connection Issues reported by subscribers, Sony working on fix

    Playstation Network (PSN) is currently experiencing connection issues, and so many subscribers are unable to connect. The actual cause of this PSN connection issues is not known, but Sony is currently working on it to fix it as soon as possible.
