PSN network has been down for number of hours now, previously we thought it might be a minor maintenance schedule, Although it's very unfair to do it during Christmas eve and holiday season.
Firstly we got the report from readers at different locations of PSN being down. Then we tried connecting it with result in connection issues and ended-up with error code 80710092 with message from Sony:
"We're aware some users are having issues connecting to the PSN. We are investigating. We expect to have the PSN back up soon and apologize for any inconvenience."
However few people are able to connect to PSN. You can check status of PSN at this link, it's showing status as Online now but we are still not able to connect. However we will keep updating status here. Feel free to update status at your place in comments below.

Last month Sony sent out a whooping $10 credits to only few select PSN subscribers (no criteria details was revealed for the selection process), and today Sony has sent out another of $10 credits via message on PS3 XMB (obviously to only few select PSN subscribers).
This latest $10 credit comes with an expiry date of March 25, so PSN subscribers who have receive this credit need to redeem it before March 25 otherwise it'll be useless and expire.
Furthermore, this latest credit is delivered only to those PSN subscribers who did not receive the last month bonus. Check you inbox now guys.
