During a recent Q&A with the community lead James Stevenson, Insomniac Games offered a comment about the possibility that the studio might be involved in a yet to be announced Resistance HD Collection.
Amazon France has revealed the official European box art for upcoming PS3 exclusive game "Resistance: The Trilogy". The box art features artwork from everyones favourite British artist, Olly Moss.
Resistance: The Trilogy features all three games in the Resistance franchise, "Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance 2 and Resistance 3". This special bundle is schedule to launch on May 16 in Europe and carries a price tag of 59.99 Euros.
Insomniac, developer behind one of the most successful Playstation exclusive franchise, Resistance has said that they won't be developing any more Resistance game.
In a recent interview to VG247 at Southern Methodist University’s Game::Business::Law Summit, Insomniac CEO Ted Price said, "We won’t be making any more Resistances,"
At the submit, Ted Price also talked about their own social games division, Insomniac Click. "Certainly over the next couple years, we’re going to see a huge evolution in visuals in social games," Price said. “It’s thanks to improving technologies. It’s thanks to browsers that are getting better and more powerful. It’s thanks to development teams – core traditional game teams who are moving into the space"

Resistance is a PS3 exclusive first person shooter franchise developed by Insomniac Games. The franchise features a global alien invansio set in an alternate history 1950.
The very first title in the series was Resistance: Fall of Man releasing as a PS3 launch title back in 2006. At that time it was hailed as a multiplayer achievement for consoles supporting up to 40 players online.
The sequel Resistance 2 (2008) took the series to new levels and heights as it offers co-operative online and up to 60 player competitive matches.
And now to highlight the upcoming launch of Insomniac Games latest entry to the franchise, Resistance 3, we have decided to highlight some of the upgrades and enhancements that the franchise have seen over the years.
A new and unverified pack shot of Insomniac's Resistance 3 has surfaced, and it suggest the game's mutliplayer portion will require an online pass.
The pack shot is for a 320GB console bundle, and carries a line that reads as "PSN Pass". It has been reported that, PSN pass is very much similar to EA's online system, which is nothing but one-time code bundled with new copies of the game, and allow gamers access to online multiplayer.
Second hand buyers need to buy this code seprately inorder to access game's online multiplayer. No official confirmation yet. Check out the packshot below:
