  • Section 8: Prejudice dated for PSN

    TimeGate Studio has announced the launch date of Section 8: Prejudice. The multiplayer FPS sequel will be available on PSN on July 27, and it will carry a price tag of £12.99.

    According to the details revealed on PS Blog, PS3 gamers will get to play two new game modes "Skirmish and Assault". In addition to this, gamers who purchase the game in the first week on sale will get Blitz Armor Pack and Overdrive Map Pack for free of cost.

    The first 100 PS members who purchase the game will receive exclusive Hunter Armor as well as a free copy of the original Section 8.

  • Section 8: Prejudice Overdrive DLC and patch available now, double XP event confirmed

    Section 8: Prejudice Overdrive map pack is now available, alonside a new patch for PC and Xbox version of the game, new trailer and a double XP weekend.

    The complete patch note is available on Timegate forum, but the most noticable changes include improved matchmaking and autobalance, and limit to rewards earned in each and every match.

    A double XP weekend for Section 8: Prejudice will begin on Friday at 6:00 AM BST (1:00 AM EST, Thursday 10:00 PM PST) and ends on Monday (same time).

    Regarding the DLC Overdrive map pack, it is currently available for $4.49 for PC, and for 20 MS Points on Xbox Live. Watch the trailer below:

  • Section 8: Prejudice Overdrive DLC announced

    TimeGate Studios has announced a new DLC pack titled "The Overdrive" Map for Section 8: Prejudice. The Overdrive DLC will feature two new multiplayer maps called "Abaddon and Sky Dock".

    Amidst the magma craters of Abaddon, protect a power cell facility built on a scalding energy source. Sky Dock is a crucial military base and space port nestled in the frozen tundra. Each map is playable in both multiplayer and offline play for all game modes, which includes Swarm, Conquest, and the recently community-unlocked Assault game mode.

    Section 8: Prejudice Overdrive Map Pack will launch on June 1 for PC and Xbox 360.

  • Section 8: Prejudice Assault mode unlocked

    TimeGate Studios has just unlocked the Assault mode in PC and Xbox 360 version of Section 8: Prejudice, after combined online community hits the 10 millions kill in just two weeks time.

    Developer just confirmed that "The Section 8: Prejudice communities on Xbox 360 and PC have combined forces and racked up 10 million kills in just over two weeks to unlock the brand new Assault game mode,"

    So Section 8 gamers, the Assault mode is now available for free of cost, go have blast.

    Assault is a team-versus-team game mode where teams race to capture all Control Points in the fastest time. While in the attack round, players must work together to capture all control points. During the defense round, players defend their bases for as long as possible. It's a fast-paced mode that encourages close cooperation with your team and unwavering focus on the goal of capturing or defending the base.

  • Section 8: Prejudice announced for 2011

    SouthPeak announced today that the much awaited sequel to Section 8 will be coming out in the early part of 2011.

    The sequel has been title as Section 8: Prejudice. No other details are out like the platform on which it will be coming out but it is expected to launch on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC unlike the original game.
