Konami has just released a Silent Hill: Book of Memories demo for all PS VITA owners across the globe. The free demo showcases the first two zones of the game, giving players access to some of the arsenal of weapons, power-ups and storylines throughout the game.
In addition, players will also see some of the iconic enemies of Silent Hill past, including the nurses. Silent Hill: Book of Memories will launch across Europe on October 16th.
So this is your best chance to try your hands out on demo before buying full version of the game.
If you guys could recollect properly, earlier this year, Konami surprised everyone and announced release date of Silent Hill: Downpour, Silent Hill HD Collection, and Silent Hill: Book of Memories. All these games was schedule to launch within same month.
However due to some unknown reason, Book of Memories for PS VITA was delayed indefinitely. But now it seems like few retailers has revealed the release window of Book of Memories.
According to GameStop, Book of Memories will launch on October 16, and "Amazon.CA" list the game for October 30. so this release window isn’t too much of a stretch.
Konami has released the European box art for their upcoming Playstation VITA game Silent Hill: Book of Memories. The game aims to to explore new dimensions of this classic setting with the first multiplayer component in the series.
Silent Hill Book of Memories is the first ever multi-player Silent Hill title. This cooperative mode lets players explore the Otherworlds together, while scare surroundings, limited resources and dark atmosphere keep the tension high.
Silent Hill Book of Memories is schedule to arrive in Spring 2012. Check out the box art below.
Remembered that infamous rape scene of Pyramid Head with pair of sullen female torsos, well it has been edited or i should say censored out of recently released Silent Hill 2 HD.
This raises many questions against Konami, whether they have removed any more content from this HD port. It has been a tough start for Silent Hill HD Collection especially for Playstation 3 version, first fans reported synch/framerate/sound issue and now this censorship.
As promised, Konami has just released a new patch update for PS3 version of Silent Hill HD Collection. It weighs 297 MB. Players will be greeted with a message to download the patch the next time they start the game.
According to Konami's Tomm Hulett, this patch fixes the synch/framerate/sound issues in the PS3 version. If you don't like the arranged music, turning off 5.1 should revert to classic (regardless of Voice selection)."
No details has been revealed yet whether Xbox 360 version of Silent Hill HD will get this same patch or not.
