Its one of the biggest buy out in Social Gaming Sector, DeNA a social games company in Japan has bought iPhone game developer ngmoco.
According to the reports this acquisation has cost DeNA a whooping $400 millions and it is said that this step has been taken by them to strenghten their position against their rival Zynga.
Tomoko Namba CEO DeNA said “The big tide in social gaming is coming, right now. We’d like to capture it and quickly become the world’s No. 1 mobile gaming platform,”
He further added “Whether you’re a developer in Japan working on a Mobage, or you’re a developer in the West making apps, you’ll be able to work with us, and your games will be able to move across borders and move across devices,”
