• SSX patch 3.0 live now, adds two new game modes

    EA Sports has just released update 3.0 for SSX. This new update is now available for download for all PS3 across the globe.

    SSXAccording to the details revealed by the developer, SSX patch 3.0 adds new game modes, and also carries tons of fixes for issues faced by games.

  • New SSX developer diary detail online features

    EA Sports has released a new developer diary for SSX, and this time around they show us the revolutionary online features. The video feature SSX Creative Director Todd Batty.

    SSXTodd Batt talks about Explore Mode and SSX's autolog-inspired recommendation engine, RiderNet. This is the first part of a two part series, next part will give us more detail about real-time multiplayer.

  • ESRB unveils rating for SSX, new trailer also released

    Entertainment and Software Rating Board (ESRB) has revealed its rating for EA Sports' upcoming game SSX. The publisher is definitely aiming something MASSIVE with this game, as the game got "E" for Everyone rating.

    SSXThe publisher has released a brand new trailer for SSX that speaks to Travis Rice (pro-boarder). You guys can watch the trailer below, and also check out the rating summary.

    "This is a sports simulation game in which players snowboard down major mountain ranges around the world. As players speed through each trail, they earn points for performing tricks and avoiding hazards (e.g., crevasses, boulders, cliff edges). Opponents groan and tumble across the snow when hit, and some levels require players to outrun billowing avalanches. During the course of the game, some song lyrics and commentary also allude to violence (e.g., “Explosive terrorist style,” “This place will split your face open,” “You’ve just been assassinated!"

    SSX is schedule to launch on February 14.

  • EA unveils SSX box art and "Survive It" trailer

    Electronic Arts have released official box art of SSX for both Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game. In addition to this, EA also released a brand new trailer for the game titled as "Survive It".

  • SSX new screenshots feature Moby

    Electronic Arts has just released four new screenshots of their upcoming snowboarding game "SSX". This new screenshots of the game features Moby, one of many returning characters to the game.

    SSX was first unveiled at VGA back in December as "SSX: Deadly Descents", though recently the publisher axed the subtitle. The game is schedule to launch in early part of next year for PS3 and Xbox 360.
