• 3DS touches 19 million hardware sales mark, DS software sales just under 1 billion

    Nintendo has just shared life-to-date sales figure details of their current platforms. These details were part of firm's Q1 earnings. According to the details revealed by Nintendo, DS and Wii saw a massive increase in software sales.

    NintendoTill today Wii sold 826.93 million games, whereas DS sold 908.79 million games. 3DS hardware sales currently reads 19 million units, while software sales reads 52.81 million since the handheld released last spring.

  • Wii U Online Services will be FREE, no subscription based model: Nintendo

    Nintendo head Satoru Iwata has confirmed that the online services of their upcoming console Wii U will be FREE of cost i.e gamers won't have to pay any sorts of subscription fee for it.

    Nintendo Wii USpeaking at a inverstors and shareholders meeting, Iwata said he had no issue with subscription based online services, but Nintendo is of the opinion that this isn't the best option for Wii U.

    According to Iwata, this Free Online Services of Wii U will direct result in better hardware and software sales of the upcoming console in the long run.

  • Amazon unveils The Last Story US release date

    Its seems like Amazon has revealed the US release date for The Last Story. The retailer has updated its The Last Story page with US release date as June 19.

    The Last StoryThe Last Story is one of the epic RPG whose online section is created by Final Fantasy franchise original creator. The game is already out in Japan and Europe, and now it appears that US gamers will be able to enjoy it soon.

  • Rumor: Epic Mickey 2 to have Wii U support

    According to reports from Superannuation, Epic Mickey 2 will feature some sorts of Wii U support. The report claims that either their will be a Wii U version of Epic Mickey 2 or Wii version of the game will have support for Wii U tablet.

    Epic Mickey 2On Twitter, Superannuation tweeted, "Apparently Junction Point is ‘implementing Wii U support for Epic Mickey 2.’ Not sure if that means WiiU SKU or Wii version supports tablet."

    Wii U controller support for Wii U seems very unlikely, but Wii U version of Epic Mickey 2 make more sense. However we still don't know how TRUE both these details are. We have to wait for an official announcement.

    Zelda: Skyward Sword gamers reported a nasty glitch that prevents them from progressing on a certain quest. Nintendo has acknowledged the issue and in no time released the fix to the issue.

  • First Modern Warfare 3 Wii screenshots revealed

    We all know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming to Nintendo Wii. The Wii version of Modern Warfare 3 is in development at Treyarch.

  • Newly Redesign Wii console removes GameCube Compatibility

    Nintendo has just announced upcoming launch of a newly redesigned Wii console. The developer has reconfigured this new console and it will no longer be compatible with GameCube software and accessories.

    Nintendo also announced that this newly redesigned Wii console will launch as a special bundle including Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games in November.

    In Europe new Wii bundle will launch on November 18, and features a newly configured Wii console in blue and a copy of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
