  • Free Games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers in May 2014 revealed: "Dust: An Elysian Tail and Saints Row: The Third"

    Microsoft's Major Nelson has just revealed free games that will be available to Xbox Live Gold Subscribers in the month of May 2014. The first game that will be available for free is Dust: An Elysian Tail, it normally carries a price tag of $14.99) but will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through May 15th.

    Xbox LiveAnd from May 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members will be able to download Saints Row: The Third for free. For those who are unaware of, The "Games With Gold" program gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members 2 free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month.

    Saints Row: The Third

    Dust: An Elysian Tail

    Set in the beautiful yet mysterious world of Falana, Dust: An Elysian Tail is a 2D action-RPG game chronicling protagonist Dust's journey to liberate an oppressed village, and rediscover his past. He is aided by an ancient sword, Ahrah, and his helpful if unreserved sidekick, Fidget. Meticulously hand-animated and painted, this episode of Elysian Tail welcomes exploration, platforming, and above all else, mastery of a fighting system that rewards skilled gamers.

  • Xbox Live Reduced Content for July 2012 finally UPDATED

    Microsoft has finally updated the Reduced Content section of Xbox LIVE. It took firm a total of 10 extra days to updated the content (though its better to be late than NEVER).

    Crysis Xbox 360 gamers can buy some awesome games at a cheaper rate including Crysis 2 and Mass Effect. Here is the complete list, check it out.

  • Xbox Live OFFLINE, Service Alert issued

    Currently Xbox 360 gamers are reporting issues connecting to Xbox Live, and according to the details we received, Xbox Live is currently down i.e offline. Xbox 360 owners are experiencing issues with account management and matchmaking.

    Xbox LiveMicrosoft has issued an statement stating that they are aware of the issues, and working on to fix it soon. "Users will experience issues attempting to create or manage user accounts, create machine accounts, or manage the association of their gamertag to a Windows Live ID.

    We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience. [sic]"

  • New Xbox 360 dashboard update available now

    Microsoft has just released a brand new dashboard update version 2.0.14717.0. As soon as Xbox 360 gamers sign into Xbox Live, they will be asked to accept this new dashboard update.

    Xbox 360This is a mandatory update, and we advice all Xbox 360 gamers to download and install it, otherwise you won't be able to sign into Xbox Live.

    Microsoft has announced that the dashboard is send out region wise, so there is every possibility that our region might not have gotten the update yet. The official details about this new dashboard is not yet released, but according to various reports, it carries support for future apps like iPlayer and all.

  • Microsoft: Fix for Xbox Live Error 80070571 and 801540B7 soon

    Ever since the new Xbox 360 dashboard update has gone live, many consumers have been experiencing major issues and the worst part is that they are unable to log into their Xbox Live profiles.

    Xbox LiveThese Xbox 360 owners report that they recive error code "801540B7 and 80070571" along with a message which says that they cannot log into their account. Microsoft has said that they are very much aware of these issues and are working diligently to fix it as soon as possible.

    About error code "801540B7 and 80070571", Microsoft said, "We have recently identified an Xbox Live profile data error that results in Error Code 801540B7 for a small number of Xbox Live members. The error instructs users to attempt to re-download their Xbox Live profile and directs them to customer service support for further assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused to our loyal Xbox Live members and are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible."
