Take-Two has given out a small udpate of development phase of 2K Marin's XCOM shooter. The publisher during its recent quarterly earnings report stated that 2K Marin's XCOM shooter is still in development and development team behind it continues to make progress.
“2K Marin continues to make progress on XCOM” was all Take-Two said about the game, and no details was revealed regarding the release window for the game.
However according to Take-Two executives, XCOM is still on track to launch during 2014 fiscal year, which begins April 1st, 2013 and ends March 31st, 2014.

2K just a while ago confirmed in a press release that XCOM will launch not only launch on Xbox 360, but also on PS3 in March next year.
Christoph Hartmann, 2K boss said, “Every time I think of XCOM it gives me the chills, the kind that come from standing witness to the corruption and destruction of your world as you stand powerless to prevent it,”
“I’m pleased to announce today that we will be bringing this experience to an even broader audience when XCOM comes to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in March 2012.”
