Gears of War 4 is releasing exclusively for Xbox One on October 11, so it is obvious to think about The Coalition team working on the game to improve it in terms of both gameplay and graphics. Today, studio head Rod Fergusson provided some details about these improvements.
In a tweet issued today, Fergusson has included two screenshots comparing Gears of War 4 multiplayer graphics from the public alpha to the May 31 build.
From the looks of it, The Coalition has added more polygons, textures, fixed lighting and polished them all for an overall better visual experience.
“The work continues”, studio head added, hinting more news about graphics could be on their way when it comes to Gears of War 4 and, in detail, to its E3 2016 story mode presentation.
Note that Gears 4 multiplayer will run at 900p and 60fps, while single-player will be all-in with 1080p and 30fps to have a stunning visual presentation. So what we’re looking at here is all but the definitive version we will approach during the campaign.
