The Last of Us: Part II is probably the biggest PlayStation exclusive release of this generation, however, no one known when exactly it is going to release – 2018 or 2019? Naughty Dog continues to play hide and seek game with PlayStation fans on this topic, and it seems like apart from them no one is every of when exactly the game will release worldwide. Composer Gustavo Santaolalla was recently asked about the release date of The Last of Us: Part II by an Argentinian Radio Station Vorterix, and to it, he JOKINGLY replied – “2019”.
He later added that he is not aware of the release date, but project this large takes at least 2 years to complete, so far he has worked for about a year.
“It’ll be done in 2019 [laughs] – No I don’t know exactly when it will come out, but a project like this usually takes at least 2 years to make. I’ve been working on it now for about a year, after my last concert on the 28th of October, I will be traveling to LA to keep working on the game.”
How should we take this statement from Gustavo – did he really confirmed 2019 as the release year of The Last of Us: Part II – Did he really told that in a joke or his intention was to keep the guessing game going on for few more months till PlayStation Experience 2017.
