GameStop-published Ready at Dawn’s next game is set to be officially revealed next week, a few days before E3 2016 kicks off, COO Tony artel has announced during a first-quarter investor call. The popular retailer is publishing the game through its recently founded label GameTrust, which is handling the next title from the creators of The Order: 1886.
While we don’t have many details about what this game could possibly be, we know almost for sure it will be the first multi-platform effort in Ready at Dawn’s history, as CEO Paul Sams revealed last summer:
“Our technology now supports multiplatform development,” he said. “Since the release of The Order, we have been very hard at work to advance our engine and technology to a place where we can deliver our games on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and one other unannounced platform that you will soon find out about.”
GameTrust’s first game will be Song of the Deep, from Insomniac Games (Ratchet & Clank, Sunset Overdrive, Resistance), on July 12. Frozenbyte and Tequila Works are also releasing their upcoming games under this new publishing label from GameStop.
