The Sims 4 is finally coming to console.
Launching Nov. 17, players around the world will be able to play The Sims 4 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game was previously only available on PC and Mac. Players who purchase the game for console will receive updates to ghosts and pools, new careers, half-walls, as well as to a new world, Newcrest.
The Create a Sim tool, too, has been overhauled with expanded gender customization options. Likewise, The Sims 4 on console will feature toddlers at launch.
Maxis and Blind Squirrel Games will continue to bring new DLC to The Sims 4 on console “on a regular basis.” New content that “mirrors some of the latest content we’ve released for PC” will come soon, according to the team.
The Sims 4 expansion and stuff packs that will be ready to purchase at launch on Nov. 17 are the Perfect Patio Stuff Pack, Vintage Glamour Stuff ($10), Vampires Game Pack ($20), and City Living ($40). You can buy a bundle The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition, which adds Up All Night, Life of the Party, Awesome Animal Hats, and Perfect Patio Stuff to the base game for $60.
