When the PS4 Pro received the patch for Witcher 3, by CDPR which supported 4K on it, naturally it was safe enough to assume that Xbox One X will also receive one, and it. And when the Xbox One X received the update for the game, along with the addition of 2 graphical modes i.e. 4K mode and Performance mode, it also got the HDR support.
However, when Marcin Momot, CDPR Community Manager, was asked about the HDR support for PC and the PS4 Pro, he said that they have no plans for rolling out HDR support for the PC and the PS4 Pro support is coming after new year.
This is bad news for the PC gaming community as Witcher 3 had the roots as a PC game, which branched out for the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Are you sad with the way CD Projekt Red is handling the PC version of The Witcher 3 as compared to PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X? Share your opinion with us in the comment section below.
At this moment we are not planning to add it for PC.
