CD Projekt RED has provided an important update about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.22, which is reportedly introducing a series of issues on PlayStaton 4. According to community manager Marcin Momot, the Polish developer is working on these issues in order to make the patch work properly for players who have already downloaded it.
Momot wrote this post on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt official forum, where he addressed the problems described by users looking into a solution to have a better experience with the DLC Blood and Wine:
“We’ve received reports from some gamers playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PS4 about not being able to interact with NPCs and quest items after applying patch 1.22. We would like to inform you that we’re actively working on addressing this issue and would like to thank you for your patience in the meantime. Should you encounter this issue, we kindly ask you to hold on to your save files from version 1.20 and wait for an update from us.”
Of course, we will update you as soon as more news arrive from the Polish developer. This isn’t the first time they (and other software houses) create new issues in the effort to solve previously appeared ones, but it usually doesn’t take that much for them to identify those and release a further patch.
