CD Projekt RED has officially confirmed that there won’t be any platform exclusive content of their upcoming RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt i.e no PS4, Xbox One or PC exclusive contents.
In a recent interview to EuroGamer, CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski said that they are treating all games equally and so all will be able to enjoy equal and same contents.
“We are treating all gamers equally, We’ll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody’s paying us money for that. It’s definitely against our values. We are not doing that.”
However Marcin Iwinski hinted that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will feature in a “marketing co-operation” with a certain platform holder.
“What we are doing in terms of marketing co-operation, you’ll see that at E3.”
There’s possibility that we might see Xbox One The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt bundle as the game was officially announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference and same might carry forward this year’s as well.
