Horizon: Zero Dawn and Death Stranding have one huge thing in common – they’re both built on Decime Engine technology, which makes for a great visual impact and few improvements when it comes to physics and open world environments. On top of that, it looks like Guerrilla Games wanted to pay homage to Hideo Kojima’s upcoming game.
In Horizon: Zero Dawn, fans have spotted, watching the pre-release videos and footage coming from the press, a collectible carrying the new Kojima Productions’ logo. This collectible’s description says: “This object is valid only for curious merchants. Six blocks of oxidised metal twisted from one cable”.
The same logo is set to be an object in Death Stranding, the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive in the making at Kojima Productions. It’s a necklage which is around Norman Reedus’, err, neck in the first trailer of the game, which was showcased during the last E3.
Connections are all around us, and it’d be nice to have Kojima’s responding to it in the new and much anticipated action adventure title with Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro.
