After E3 2014, Ubisoft promised that fans should not worry at all about graphics downgrade in Tom Clancy’s The Division. Game Director Ryan Barnard, in a video interview to Angry Joe stated: “We get that a lot. I think the problem with having an engine like Snowdrop where the graphical fidelity is so high, that of course you’re going to have those concerns.”
“You know, we’re working really hard, especially this year, what we brought is the look that you’ll have on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. PC might even be able to push it.”
Recently on YouTube, someone posted a comparison footage of Tom Clancy’s The Division E3 2013 Build vs E3 2014 build, and it seems like Ubisoft is finally delivering on their promises. Going by the details in the footage, gameplay mechanics changed drmatically from E3 2013 to E3 2014, but graphics/visuals department looks completely the same.
You can watch the comparison footage below. Tom Clancy’s The Division is scheduled to launch in 2015 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
